I'm pleased with this vac. I like the dual chambers and it is easy to remove the pet hair from them. I have 3 cats and this vac is pretty powerful. It is on the noisy side but most vacs are.
My only complaint is that the wonderful pet hair attachment tool stops working because the inner filter gets clogged. I find this happening with all vacs with this sort of attachment.

My Son whose 24 tracks stuff in and my puppy is shedding her summer coat. I couldn't stand it and then HSN came to the rescue. Now my DDR vacuums up everything. I even vacuum my dog. she loves it after I brush her coat. I loan the DDR to my daughter who has the sibling of my puppy and she thought she wasnt using it properly cause she had to dump it 7 times. I had to demand it back or I wouldn't have it now. Yes it's heavy, but with all that it does my perspective sees this as irrevelant. 5 STARS! She in VA.

I was so nervous about getting this vacuum being that I read the reviews AFTER I purchased it. I haven't had any problems...this has been the best vacuum ever! It picks up well on my hardwood floors.

When I first bought it, I thought it worked great. Then the roller brush melted. The manufacturer sent another roller brush and then it melted and broke the belt. The warranty service store said that it is because it is made out of soft plastic. He said it should continue to happen every month or two. He recommended getting a different vacuum. I am trying to get Dirt Devil to refund me.

And wow! It does an amazing job! I have had 2 kenmores and I thought the kenmores picked up dog hair. Well to my surprise, this dirt devil does an awesome job. I must have emptied the container around 5 x's. i have to say the power of this vac is excellent. I am rating this a 5 star.

We had parts of our home newly carpeted wall to wall with Black carpeting. When the installers left, I took out the Dirt Devil. The Cyclonic action and powerful suction capability of the Dirt Devil picked up so much of the fuzz from newly installed carpeting,I was shocked! After watching over 32 years (since radio days), I have come to expect the quality and durability of its products and the way that HSN stand behinds its products in bringing us the best that there is.

I really wanted the Dyson Animal Ball...my mother has one and it is amazing. It was out of my price range so I ordered this one. Let me tell you, it is amazing. Just as good as my mother's Dyson...I don't know what the other reveiwers are talking about...I've NEVER had the hose fall out. Yes, it is a bit heavy to push, but not a big deal. It doesn't spit stuff out, and it's no louder than any other vaccuum I've owned. I love it.

I received the product today & was worried about it since I didn't read the poor reveiws on the product until after it was shipped. I immidiatly took it out of the package & wanted to try it out to see for myself. The suction power is awsome, it picks up everything, you don't lose any suction when using the onboard tools. One of the reasons I bought it was dirt devil has a good reputation & good product. I', a beleiver. Thank you hsn.

when the package arrived the box was beaten up and torn up, should've known... not to opened it. When I finally put it together, it turned on, was very heavy and bulky not light weigh and very loud. (woke the baby up from her sleep) the hose kept falling out which was annoying. Hardly pick up anything on the carpet, my baby girl was able to pick the lint off the carpet, how sad!

Wast of money very loud and it spits every thing out,does not have any suction.It over heats and you cant vacuum for more then a few minutes and shuts off.I must say that I called hsn and they allowed me to returned it even though I did not have the original package.They also are willing to reimburse my shipping.

I agree with the other review -- the hose pops out of the system and the vacuum just spits the dirt out of the hose -- no matter how hard you push it into place. I keep seeing dirt and dust on the floor and realize I have to put the hose back. It's also heavy. Picks up from carpet very well, but not so sure about bare floors.

Product is too cumbersome. Very heavy weight. More suitable for offices rather than home. Absorbs dust great,but hose slips out even though pushed in all the way Arm is very tired after vacumning. More appropriate for a man than woman. Did not return due to size and weight,had already thrown out box thinking it will meet my expectations, and I thought I'd make the best of it while I have it. If you want a light weight vacumn this vacumn is not for you.

I BOUGHT THIS VACUUM BECAUSE THEY CLAIMED IT CLEANED ALL FLOORS. IT ARRIVED IN A BATTERED, TORN UP BOX. WHEN I GOT IT TOGETHER AND TURNED IT ON - THE NOISE WAS LIKE NOTHING I HAVE EVER HEARD! IT DID NOT PICK UP LINT FROM MY HARDWOOD FLOORS OR ALL FROM THE RUG. HUGE AND EXTREMELY HEAVY AND HARD TO NAVIGATE. I WAS SO ANXIOUS TO GET IT AND BECAUSE THE BOX WAS SO TORN UP - I THREW THE BOX AWAY. SO I GUESS I CAN NOT RETURN IT. IT IS NOW IN MY BASEMENT. S A V E Y O U R M O N E Y
