After returning a size 9 that fit too small, I got this in a size 10 and it fits just fine on my index finger. Definitely you need to order up 1 size for the finger intended. Also, there is a lot of variation in the purple fluorite -- the ring I finally kept is mostly a deep eggplant purple with a few lavender streaks. I also like the curling stem and leaf design on the sides of the band, which is sort of a matte finish. The wide band is comfortable and tapers from about 3/8" wide next to the stone, to 1/4" wide underneath, making it easy to bend the finger. I hope Jay will get more purple stones, I will be watching for them!

it is a very beautiful ring but not true to size. I ordered a size 8 but it seems like its a size 7. I kept it becauase I like it so well and my left hand is around a 7. I will order other Jay King pieces, he makes such gorgious piecers at wonderful prices.

It was a mistake to order a ring just to match a necklace. When I can't wait to take off a piece of jewelry I know I won't wear it much. I wish Jay would make narrower bands. The band was not only uncomfortable but looked just so-so.

Fluorite is an important stone for me so, when I saw this ring, I had to give it a try. It's not as large as most of the Mine Finds rings, and the band is unusual. It has a matte finish. The fluorite is very like the pictured one, with a deep purple color in sunlight. I like it very much.
