I bought one of these and one each of two other designs to wear as earring drops on gold hoops. They are all exactly the right size for that. If this one acquires a milky surface, I will try to let you know. For now, the stone is lovely, and how I like the practice of putting a spring clasp on instead of a spring ring.

the stone gets a mineral type white film that I couldn't remove with soap or alcohol based wipes.
