I love the color and the feel of the leather. Yes, the straps are short but due it slouches, it can get over the shoulder.

I received my bag today in what they call "tan". It is somewhere between an oranage and a yellow. The color is rather unusual and I love it!!! The leather is very soft. Yes, the handle is short, but this bag is made to be slouchy and if you do that you can still wear it on your shoulder! Can't beat the clearance price!

the leather on this bag is lovely-great color and design. this bag is very unconstructed-more like a few pieces of leather sewn together like a tote bag-not my preference.

Beautiful bag, but handles are so obviously too short! Price was right, if handles were only a few inches longer>still a good deal. Color is lovely.

I bought this bag about 4 months ago and have used it about 4 times since then. I really liked the style of the bag and thought that it would be a great bag to use for work. I don't abuse my purses and have many bags from the very exspensive lv bags to the knock around everyday bags. I have to tell you in my entire life I have never seen a purse literally fall apart before my eyes. First 1 handle fell off then the second handle fell off then the side fell apart. I called hsn and of course they don't cover anything after 30days nor could they give me a number where I could reach michael rome. It is unbelieveable that hsn sells this kind of junk and then does not stand behind their merchandise.

I bought the tan hobo and i love it! The handles are short but I do use handbags that are not shoulder bags so it does not bother me. The leather is soft and the tan is a pretty color. It is super roomy on the inside too! If another color came back into stock, I'd consider getting another one!

I really wanted to like this. Got the green and loved the color. Leather was not what I expected....not very soft and the handles didn't work for me.

I have been watching this bag for a while & when it went on clearance, I scooped one up in plum. I carefully read all the reviews, mostly abt the short handles. Recvd today & the leather is soft and if you know good leather, this is just that. Yes, I agree that handles could be a tad bit longer, but I am petite (size 2) and had no trouble using it as a shoulder bag. Definitely the slouchy look. Really like this bag and am giving it 4 stars only because as other reviewers stated - handles a bit too short. Still really liking it for color, butter soft leather & slouchy trendy look.

I bought this bag in black as a birthday present for my 25 yr old daughter and she loves it! No complaints re handles at all. Very soft leather, simple classic lines, good price and can hold a lot of stuff. I ordered her the matching wallet that for less that $25, is a steal if you can still grab one. Highly recommend both purchases. If the price drops, I think I will order one for me in plum :-)

This bag features great leather, great green color, to die for... but the handle is too short... so inconvenient. I looked at it for 2 days and everytime I would pick it up I realized how ridiculous I look with it with such a short handle for such a big bag body. Unfortunately it went back.

Received this in tan, which is more of a burnt
orange - great color. The purse is a good size, not overly large or too small and the leather is very soft. Would definitely recommend this one.

I received my bag today & i must say a lot of u ladies don't know a good bag when u see one this bag is no way looks cheap or plastic,this bag is beautiful & timeless the leather is soft & the color pattern is different & that's what u want in a bag it in no way looks like a science project,only a woman of a certain age & style can appreciate this bag i love it.

I bought the plum bag, love the color, the size, the soft leather and quality of the bag are all excellent. Would be the perfect bag if only the straps were longer. They are too short to wear comfortably on my shoulder and so short that the bag gapes open in a weird way. So very sad that I have to return this item, If Michael made this bag with longer straps I'd buy it in a heart beat!

The bag is great quality. the flaw is the handles, which are not long enough to carry on the shoulder. I received mine today and was so disappointed when I tried the bag on the shoulder it does not fit. The handles also get in the way of the opening. It is a nice bag, but will be returning as I can"t carry over the shoulder as I would like. This is a great quality bag though.
