Perfect for toning! And so nice that this can be achieved while watching t.v., etc! Uhhhmm...for those who complained that it wouldn't "fasten" to the chair? It's not supposed to "fasten" to the chair,LOL. You are supposed to either ( depending upon the exercise you want to do ) place it behind your back against the chair, sit on it, or place on the front of your abdomin.
I bought one as a gift for somebody too, and she also loved it also.

Item would NOT FASTEN TO ANY CHAIR IN MY HOME. I called cus.svc (God Forbid they should help you)I was insulted.Unable to use the product,& ended up paying shipping/handling BOTH WAYS;who wants to call customer service to hear their lousey attitudes? You need to RESTRUCTURE YOUR STAFF AND HIRE POSITIVE, ENERGETIC EMPLOYEES WITH A 'CAN-DO' ATTITUDE, NOT THOSE WHO JUST SIT THERE COLLECTING A PAYCHECK.ISN'T THAT WHAT YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPT.IS FOR?????????

This machine is the exact product that I needed to be able to tone my arms and strengthen my arms. I have had multiple carpal tunnel surgeries and was afraid to use anything that would re-injure my wrists and forearms. After having so many surgeries for Carpal Tunnel and DesQuervains, I was afraid to put any stress on my forearms as well.
I can use this with perfect confidence and my arms are beginning to lose the "flag waving" ability that they had acquired.

My daughtyer is 5'4" and I am 6' tall. We can both get a good workout from this toner. It is so simple to use and can be used anyplace. Works great as you can immediately feel the stretching. Increasing the tension does really make it hard to pull for me so I will stay on the beginner level for awhile!

I am pleased with this ingenious way to work out my arms. This is perfect for toning and tightening the arms. I can use it while watching television without having to lift weights, and can do it all sitting down. If you don't have a lot of spare time throughout the day for lifting weights, you can multi-task while watching T.V. and do yourself some good.

Nice idea but seriously flawed. Im 5'4", 105#, fit & work out reg. but 1st time out of box, this caused so many problems with my shoulder & back, I had to go to the chiropractor next day. Cords are too short. Can only extend arms 3/4...what good is that? On higher tension, one side would extend 2/3 while the other only 1/2 arm extension. Unless defective, better off doing same repetitions with can of beans in hand. Junk. Going back today!

I wasn't sure this would give me a workout, and wouldn't be useable in front of the tV, because my chairs have arms. Well, I'm still using the first level, and am really tired after a few sets. I stand to do triceps, and it works. I'm using it every other day. I've only had it about 2 weeks, so I don't expect to see results yet, but I feel good when I'm done. The most important thing is that I use it. I like it a lot. BTW, to be Excellent instead of Great, it would have to make me dinner.

Just had my 3rd baby so finding time to do a full workout is nearly impossible. I can do exercises first thing in the morning, last thing in the evening, or any time I get a quick break. It's always there handy, no need to go to the gym or run downstairs to use the bulky equipment. I use it everyday because it's so convenient. I believe most exercise equipment can get you results, it's just a matter of finding one you'll stick with, and for me, this is it!

Great little gadget for working the upper body. Now that summer is right around the corner, this will get my arms in shape for sleeveless tops. And it sure beats using dumbbells. I can even pack this when I travel - so no excuse now for not doing those exercises!!!! Great going HSN for offering this terrific product.

This is a cool little workout gizmo. For the price and size, it does a lot for your arms. At first I was not sure about this but after trying this product I was amazed! I take it to work with me daily and it is easy to take anywhere around the house. This product is easy to use and it works.

This is such a great little workout machine! The price with free shipping is an unbelievable value! I just got mine for a few days and must say that I really feel my muscles working! I do all the exercises in the manual and have thought of even more! The exercises really emulate similar ones with regular free weights or dumbbells. I am starting on level one with 3 sets of each and my muscles do get a lil sore after each set. I plan on gradually working my way up. I love this little machine!

I am so glad I took the leap w/this product.After having surgery 4 weeks ago&being on bedrest, my muscles are shot & flaccid. I too weak to pick up my purse&actually my surgeon hasn't ok'd me to lift weight or do ab work yet, so this little guy is perfect...it really works u, even on level 1,so I know it will grow w/my needs,whether I want to do lots of reps for muscle endurance or want to build muscle with fewer reps&higher intensity.Thanks HSN, another great deal!!

This is one of the best toners I ever used,,,it does everything they said it would in the video,,,,,and it's better than having a bunch of free weights laying around,,,get it,,,if you don't like it send it back,,but you need to try this,,,it's great,,,
