I think the design is beautiful. I was attracted to the color and the decorative silver pieces. Unfortunately, the first time I wore it the bottom "tassel" broke off and the pieces were lost. I didn't notice until I removed it at the end of the day. As a jewelry designer, I can make it into something else. The wire that was used to make the" tassel " should have been stronger.

I realize that natural stones have imperections but this was exceptionally bad- drop stone was broken off so workmanship not good especially to have just received it. I agree it looks more like costume than real. Price does not agree with quality.

I looked forward to receiving a high quality necklace, but instead received a rather cheaply made item. For the price, I would have expected a heavier chain and and a little more "weight" in the silver. I have purchased Barse jewelry before, but I can see a trend of lower quality in their work. Sorry, but this is going back.

This is the 2nd Studio Barse necklace that I have ordered. Both have had to be returned because received defective workmanship. One of the small sterling stations on the side of the necklace has a broken weld as received. Going back! For this price would expect more. This is more like costume jewelry.
