These stones are not the classic green of Russian Chrome Diopside (RCD), having a tiny bit of a yellowish tint, which is characteristic, I think I remember in my reading about RCD, of African Chrome Diopside. I would call the saturation of the stones in my ring "grass green." I like the stones. They are pretty, but the setting is very lightweight. But I am also a huge RCD fan so I am probably biased since I like all Chrome Diopside better than other green stones except for Demantoid Garnet. Remember ladies, RCD is UNTREATED, unlike Emerald (and most other major gemstones, except for the Garnets). I think Chrome Diopside is very much underrated as a gemstone and will probably soon gain in popularity AND price quite a bit...

Stones had very little sparkle, the setting was somewhat cheap looking. I love Chrome Diopside and would pay more for a high quality piece. This was not it - went back the next day.

I COULD NOT BELIEVE HOW TRUE TO LIFE THIS RING IS.
I WAS SO SURPRISED, WHEN I SAY IT ON SALE, TO LATE FOR ME TO GET CREDIT FOR A DISCOUNT.
THE RING SEEM TO HAVE BEEN AT A GREAT PRICE AND TO HAVE IT REDUCED SHORTLY AFTER IT WAS A TODAY SPECIAL, WAS IN POOR JUDGEMENT OF HSN.

I almost ordered this ring a while back when it was the TS and I wish I had. I have since discovered what a rarity chrome diopside is, so I decided to go ahead and get it. It is so pretty. The stones are a vibrant , rich green and not a bad one in the bunch(and there are a bunch!) Looks great on the hand.

Better move fast on this ring because it is gorgeous and these stones are the richest deepest green that i have ever seen. I don't know how they do it at thier prices but this is a winner. Chrome diopside is so rare that you hardley ever see it, andif you do it's much much pricier. Grab it ladies you won't regret it.!!

The stones match eachother well, and the ring is very comfortable to wear. I wasn't sure I'd like the setting-it's ok. I wear it more as a daytime ring-not as a dress-up ring.

Love, love, love this ring. I received so many compliments from day one and from many MEN (who usually don't notice jewelry) to my surprise! I have 2 diamond white gold U shaped bands that I added above and below the ring that makes the setting look better and adds to the sparkle. I wear it on my index finger and it looks beautiful. The stones are as gorgeous as my emeralds and much more economical. Don't hesitate even at the higher price. You won't be disappointed!

I so wanted a Chrome Diopside ring but the stones look like Onyx when I wear the ring. Stones are way too dark. I'm sending mine back. Bummer.

The stones in this ring are almost an electric-green in color. They sparkle like wild. The ring does not rotate on my finger -it's very comfortable. It has a beautiful presence.

I ordered another size of this ring, then finally got the right one. I sent the first one back due to size only. Both rings have wonderful green stones, just as diopside is supposed to be. This is a real deal for the TS price. I love it. Buy it. You will too.

I ordered this ring not particularly liking the setting, but thinking the stones alone were a terrific value and I'd have them reset. When the ring came, I loved both the stones and the setting! It's a beautiful piece of jewelry and comfortable on the finger. Very well proportioned too. As someone else said, big bang for the buck! Worth every penny. Chrome diopsides look like perfect emeralds at a fraction of the price of emeralds. A really great ring!
