I don't know very many plans, other than much higher priced monthly plans that allow incoming free calls. Tracfone is just your basic, no frills, no monthly cost plan, and if you use the promo codes on several websites including fatwallet(dotcom), you will have an extremely economical phone. My Samsung did come with instructions that I haven't read yet, altho I do want to find out a couple of small things about its features. All in all, I have no big complaints with Tracfone service. If you get a rep with an accent that isn't too hard to understand, they're fine.

Again, this phone & plan are NOT for people who want to be babied & lured in with free incoming minutes, friends & family, etc. etc. Those are come-on's to get your $45 or $55 per month for a year or two, = over $500 /year. If you want to spend just $100/year for your cell phone, & talk just a bit, when you need to, & talk a lot only occasionally, Tracfone is for you.

The phone does not work for long distance outside the U.S. (Canada is were I have been trying to call). Their customer service is the worst I have ever encountered. I keep getting emails with directions on how to call outside the U.S. & no one seems to want to try & fix the problem. I have also recharged the phone & when I unplugged it all my minutes disappeared. They have never answered my phone calls when I have asked for a call back & to please forward my problem to a supervisor. Even since I requested a supervisor I have had no response. I am also charged minutes when I receive a call which I was told I would only be charged when I initiate the call. Don't buy this phone it is a rip off.

I purchased this phone for my mom this past mothers day, every time my mom makes a call from the phone, we have to call trac phone to reprogram the phone, because we are not able to send and receive calls. Spent several hours on several different occasion with customer service, they send us a new Sym card, and the phone was able to make 2 phone calls after that, then stopped working again.

I lost mine on vacation. I cried and cried. When I called the company they said I can keep my phone number and will have my unused minutes replaced after I receive my new one .it takes the clearest photos. I have never had any problems calling anywhere. I love how you just slide it up to make a phone call and back down when you are done.

lthis phone is hard to work, keys are too small, it did not come with phone instructions,
even with the double minutes, it is not as good a deal as another prepaid phone company. Trac fone support is not good, HSN support or knowledge of this product is not good. It is too late to return (was waiting for my other phone to expire) and I wasted $100. It makes me sick.

I love this phone. Best phone purchase I ever made. Takes great pictures connections are wonderful. Also no contracts or over minutes. Thank You hsn for a great product.

Nice phone,terrific value. New Tracfone user(had prepaid from another carrier) Phone is easy to operate,comfortable,& call quality is good. No trouble setting up the phone or Bluetooth. I took away 1 star for the way you can inadvertently hit the button to connect to internet,which immediately charges you 50 cents.Most people buying this phone aren't buying it for internet use, so why put the connect button where it's so easily pressed by accident? Despite that quirk, I recommend this package.

Bought this phone for emergencies, when it was a daily special for $99. We have used it while traveling and have had excellent service. The shipping was fast, and everything was in the box. It is easy to add the minutes and to get a phone number. I don't know why others are having trouble. We even used this phone in ND where they say there is no service, and it worked like a charm. I would recommend this phone to everyone. It is going to save us over $500 a year (with Verizon).

the phines I rec'd (2) didn't worked with the blue tooth they sent BOTH not working told by company that the blue tooth was not the right one for the phone they replaced it only with another one that didn't work The phone does NOT have the jack to buy a cored ear phone so I'm stuck with 2 phones that are use less not to mention the money I'm out

I had absolutely no problems porting my number and getting connected. In fact they said it would take 7-10 days but it was ported in 2 hours. The tracfone customer service people were very helpful. The phone is really nice. I don'tuse a lot of minutes so I had a ton of unused rollover minutes from AT&T that I gave up. I'm really glad to give up the huge monthly bill!
I wish they would offer this again at the special value price of $99.00. I'd like to get one for my granddaughter.

This is my very first cell phone ever...i'm not techno friendly at all...but i needed one for emergencies sake...i love it...i think it is well made, and i LUV this slider-type phone...i even am enjoying the texting feature...i LUV to text my niece...it's a blast...at (47) years, it's never too late to get in the game...thank you...

I have been a Tracfone customer for years. I had one of the first phones they were selling that I purchased from a Dollar store. I had that same phone all of these years because I didn't want a flip phone, but when I saw this slider phone on HSN FOR ONLY $99, I couldn't believe it, and it was a TRACFONE!! That is the price of the airtime card by itself. It was love at first site.

I received my phone in two days and had no problems at all setting it up online. The bluetooth works and is so clear. I just didnt like when you set your voicemail up you lose about 2 prepaid minutes. Phone number popped up quickly when all the steps were done. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST. I was leary at first because of the negative reviews but just went ahead and took a chance on this phone. Glad I did. I'll still keep my contract phone too. Thank you TracFone and HSN for a gr8 transaction.

I bought the phone because of the headset but the headset that was sent with the phone was not compatible with the phone itself. I called tracfon but there was nothing they could do. I mean what kind of company would sell a product that is not compatible with each other?. Hopefully, HSN would be able to do something about this and maybe in the near future they would test the compatibility of their products before selling it to innocent consumers.

got activated fast when I called in. got the 810 minutes.
the only thing, I didnt like is the ringer is not loud enough, but I can live with that.
the bluetooth earpiece works fine, clear as a bell, the reception is great on the phone, and it does keep connected, very user friendly.

What a great deal this is! I love this little phone. I got this Thursday and used it on same day. I didn't have any problems like other people had.

Activated on-line (gives a promo code for more mins), but got stuck showing only promo mins. Called tracfone, answered right away and set it all up for me without any problem. I ended up getting 1020 min;425 days of service;for just the HSN $. Bluetooth easy to set up by READING the instructions. Thanks HSN. Don't know why all the bad reviews regarding call tracphone and their services, they dont speak english well but just listen closer and asked them to repeat what I didnt understand
