I have used this on leaky pipes & it REALLY DID SEAL off the leak!! I've used it for other things also & it didn't become sticky like so many types of tape will. Well worth getting!

I have used the Tommy tape on 2 projects now. The first was to seal a leak in our pool heater line. This line is under pressure and it heal great. The 2nd project was the carburetor intake boots on my '79 Yamaha motorcycle. these boots are made of rubber, and were age cracked. This affects the bike running. After putting the tape on the boots, I started the bike, and the Tommy tape worked as I hoped it would. The cracks allowing excess air into the intake were sealed and it runs great again. I will be buying more Tommy tape, there are a lot of projects it will work on.

I ordered the Tommy Tape in July 09 and I finally got a chance to put it to work before I used Professor Amos' drain cleaner to clean my bathroom sink drain. I ended up taking the metal pipe off to see if I could find something that I dropped down the drain a few months ago. I guess that the metal pipe was very old or something because it cracked in 3 places!! I was horrified until I ran and got the tape. I applied it and "Presto", Tommy Tape really works!!!! Tommy Tape even held up after I used the Professor's drain cleaner!!! No drips at all!!!!

I bought this tape to seal a plastic PVC pipe and it did not work. It did not work on the water leak.

I applied the tape on a slow leak exactly as demonstrated and the water still found it's way out of the tape. I tried many times, watched the demonstration video on HSN, then tried again. Very disappointing as this is the only reason I purchased this tape. It may work on electrical appliances as does any electric tape, but it will not repair a leak. My thought - Very expensive electric tape.
