I have had nothing but problems with this computer. The only good thing is the 8 hour battery, which does me little good because the battery is the only thing that works.

I purchased this laptop and talk about sheer madness! First of all this claim of an 8 hour battery...yeah right! I could barely get it to last 3 hours and yes I made all the necessary
"adjustments". Add to that, the way it would freeze at the drop
of a mouse click was criminal. I have two Gateways and honestly
I could not see any significant difference between the weight of Acer and Gateway. So for now it's Gateway all the way! So take my advice and spare yourself.

This is the laptop I've been looking for. I love the chassis in ultra-thin design. The individually tiled keyboard is great which makes it easy to type on. The laptop can run for a full day and still remains cool on your lap. Love the touchpad which enables you to pinch, flick and swirl your fingers to browse photos and navigate web sites. That's something they should have featured more, not the software offering where most of them are trial versions. I have more to share but space is limited.

This is my 1st laptop.
After 4 days it crashed and had to be factory reinstalled. I had pot 3 day of work in and lost it all. Also the hostess claim you will receive $500 worth of software is only 60 day trail and them you have to pay for it. You are paying for junk that is only some games and Mcafee I was told is lifetime use, is also 60 day trail. I'm sending this back and I'm very disappointed in the service from HSN. I have been loyal customer for years, but no more. Buyer be Ware.

I just received my computer today and I can't say enough good things about it. It was so easy to get it up and running. I have downloaded pictures, checked e-mail, surfed the internet and listened to music. It is sleek looking and light in weight. The features and unbelieveable and so easy to use. If you are a novice and are looking for a laptop, this is the computer for you. This is my first Acer but I know it will not be my last!
