I love this DVD player. I travel a lot and this player has everything that I need. It's very light weight. The picture is absolutely fantastic. The battery lasts up to 5 hours depending on how I use it. I would recommend this player to anyone, infact, I'm going to order a few more for holiday gifts.

I have had multiple portable dvd players in the past, but none of them ever had this good of a picture. They all worked for a short time, then went out. I am not worried about this one since it's a sony, and love the way the buttons work on this one being almost touch screen like. Kids love the screen size, would definetly buy this one again...

THE SONY 9" PORTABLE DVD PLAYER IS AN EXCELLENT CHOICE. YOU WON'T REGRET IT. THE SWIVEL SCREEN IS STURDY AND SHOULD LAST ALONG TIME. THE SCREEN RESOLUTION IS ALSO VERY GOOD. THE ONLY REASON I DIDN'T GIVE IT AN EXCELLET REVIEW IS THE BATTERY LIFE, UNDER REGULAR USE I GET 3 1/2 MAYBE 4 HOURS OF BATTERY TIME NOT QUITE THE 6 HOURS. BUT THEY TELL HOW YOU CAN GET 6 HOURS BUT I'VE NEVER TRIED IT.

Very neat. Bought this for my son to listen to his CDs as a Sony Cd Player was the recommendation to play these particular CDs on. Clear pictures when watching DVDs and the six hour battery time is great. Very small and easy to travel with.

This is my third portable DVD player. The first one cost close to $300 and died after a year it was a 10 in, the second I still have and it works fine, but to be honest this one is better looking (matches my Sony DVD recorder..) and the 6 hour battery WOW!!! Fabulous. I like how the battery sits on the bottom of the player and is not some big thing hanging off the back. Plus it's a Sony!!!

This DVD is excellent. The sound and picture quality are fantastic, being a Sony I am not surprised. Another thing it has very easy instructions. This is a big plus. Nothing complicated about it. I got blue.

This is an awesome portable DVD Player. The picture is excellent, the sound is great. It has played every DVD I have tried even ones that I had trouble with on the old player. The only regret is that it did not come w/carry case other than that it is perfect. Worth the money. My 4 yr old has it sitting right on her nightstand next to her bed and she goes to bed watching her Disney Movies and it works perfectly in the car when we take long trips, it keeps her entertained.

I reviewed at least a dozen portable DVD players on-line and FINALLY chose this Sony. Clarity is beautiful, sound is terrific! Everything about it is a plus (except no extras: case for player/remote, headphones, holder for viewing in vehicle). The quality of this machine is worth the lack of extras. I work night shift and use it for my exercise DVDs & CDs. The swivel screen is great as I can see it from various angles. The 'pause' option was important to me. I am very pleased.

Just got two of these in white (one for me and one for my sister).
This is my second Sony portable DVD over the past year from HSN.
The quality on screen is very sharp, The swivel screen is an extra benefit and I can't believe the 6 hour battery.
My new DVD player is right next to my Wii on top of my 55 inch TV and will be used for dual purpose..at home and on road trips.

I just recieved my sony dvd player today and i love it. The pitcure is clear and the sound is amazing.I have had others before and the volume was not loud but this sony is really loud and even if you dont need one you will not regret it by having it LOVE IT!!!!!!
