I have been buying pearls from HSN for years and have many beautiful pieces that draw unsolicited compliments from flight attendants, clients, and my BFFs, Please note that the pearls are not individually knotted and are strung too tightly. I bought three sets (one peacock and two white). Unlike other reviewers, I could not find a strand that I would consider adding to my pearl collection. I am a huge fan of biwa, and other unusual pearl shapes, but my pearl strands must have consistent luster, grading and color.

Granted that the 2 smaller pearl strands are strung extremely tight, but once u run your hands over smoothly up and down ALL around at least 2x-3x over, they'd easily straighten out, like really!!! REAL PEARLS ARE DETECTED IF U RUN YOUR TEETH OVER THEM, I.E. THEY'RE SANDY-LIKE AND THEY'RE MARBLY COOL, and THESE ARE FOR REAL, LADIES!!! BTW: I ordered the big WHITE PEARL strand, once on TS & other on sale & returned them BOTH 2X, and I'm sooo glad that I did 'cuz now, I got F-O-U-R WHITE PEARL strands to mix and match and I've gotten sooo many ooohs-n-aaahs & compliments already from just wearing them only 2x!!!!! THIS WAS THE BEST TS EVER AS FAR AS PEARLS ARE CONCERNED FOR THE MONEY & QUALITY!!! I'm thinking of coming back for the black ones to mix and match as well, even though it is no longer on TS, but still very affordable just the same (UNLIKE HONORA PEARLS FROM QVC, WHICH IS NO QUALITY/NO VALUE IN THEMSELVES!!)...

I ordered the peacock pearls---they're absolutely beautiful!!
These pearls are lush and juicy!! The weight and the coolness---these are genuine! The shape, color and size are consistant with each strand. You cannot go wrong with the price for the quantity and quality---I initially thought it was too good to be true--something wrong with the pearls---happily I was wrong .
You'd be insane to pass this offer!

This is my first review and I have been shopping HSN for years. The terrible quality of these pearls (peacock) prompted to me to write this review. I got ugly cracked splitted beads so tightly strung that the largest mm size broke when I tried to tie the ribbon around them. Immediately canceled my waitlist order (white). Sorry these were not "Any Day's Special!"

I ordered the Mauve Pearls, and when they arrived, frankly I was a wee bit nervous about opening the package based on the reviews that were coming in....well I needn't have been because my pearls couldn't have been better than if I had picked them personally myself!!! I went over them all with a fine tooth comb (so to speak) and while there are A FEW pearls that are slightly irregular overall they are nothing but "lush and lovely." I LOVE the weightiness, proves their real. THE COLOR is a true mauve, SAME Color as the mauve Honora pearls I own, and Lee Sand pink/plum pearls I love to wear. The LUSTER is lovely on all 4 strands. As for the kinks, my set had a little, but usually wearing the pearls will work that out with time. Yes, they do catch hair on the back of the neck, so I am wearing mine with turtlenecks, mocknecks, and collar tops, etc. Thank you HSN for bringing us such great offers at low prices!!!

This is my very first time to buy anything from the TV. When a friend told me that HSN was having a pearl show I was dubious but curious. I am a pearl girl, especially baroque, real and faux, vintage and new. I even have several faux pearl Miriam Haskell pieces from the 1940s. Real pearls are cold and they can be quite heavy. Faux pearls are warm and very light. For this price these pearls are great. The smaller strands are strung too tightly in the old rose set, so I will probably restring them on unbreakable wire. Mixing them, old rose and gold together make a very new mix of color. Very lush and rich looking. These stands are not too heavy to wear and I am a small person. These two sets are lovely, not perfect, as nothing in nature is perfect. If it were not for my hair getting stuck my first HSN buy would be a star5, so I will probably end up restringing all 8 strands as these pearls are much to pretty to return.

I was very impressed with the coloration of the peacock pearl set that I ordered. It is more of a total blue look ,rather than black, and they look very well with denim. The pearls themselves have a deep bluish, greenish, purplish, grayish glow to them. The pearls seem quite large and are shaped beautifully. If only there was a clasp! Of course, the set would cost more, but it would so be worth the extra money to have more versatility.

These pearls are not exactly what I expect when I think pearls. These were very heavy and cold--they felt more like porcelain than pearls. They were definitely formed and not naturally grown. There is nary a knot on any of the necklaces. One tiny mishap and all would be lost. They will be going back.

I had hoped to split up this set for my twin daughters . Times being as they are cant afford to get 2 sets. The quality was horrible, the larger pearls looked like misshapen globs of I don't know what. They also had deep ridges in them. I did not expect first quality for the price but I also didnt expect the awful looking things I received.

Love the look of these pearls, I got them in the dusty pink and the peacock.. BUT they do weigh a lot and what is even worse is that they do rip our my hair by the dozen! Every time I lift a strand of them over my head they take loads of hair out. Maybe because they are not knotted after each pearl and for that price I can't blame them but for long haired girls these pearls are a pain. So sadly these go back.

This is well worth the price and really gorgeous. I'd bought one strand at a local jeweler for $89 and this is four strands! Received lots of compliments. I doubled it and tied it with the ribbon as the show host wore it.

I love the baroque look of the larger strands, I know they are real and unique. That many perfectly round pearls would cost a fortune. I got the white and they are lovely and have nice luster, you can wear them about 10 different ways using the ribbon. Great deal for the price, that is lot of pearls for under 100 dollars. I wish they were knotted, but understand the cost involved there.
