I also took a chance, inspite of the bad reviews, and I''m so glad I did! This is one of the prettiest necklaces I own. No defects at all. I got the 24 inch, so it slips over my head and I don''t bother with the clasp. I got it on sale for $114.90 with 3 flex-pay. I hope I can one day get the matching earrings. I think they are sold out right now.

I must have gotten one of the very early sets and just lucked out. My 18" necklace, bracelet and earrings are really pretty. The stones are light, watery aqua as they should be, the pearls are nice, the "gold beads" look fine, (I didn''t know they were covers until I read the review comments) and the thread color on mine is not noticeable. It''s worth the small expense to change to a toggle clasp with the investment I''ve already made. Lucky me!

I''m amazed at the negative comments. My 24 inch arrived in perfect condition with none of the problems identified by other reviewers. Guess that I got lucky. Have worn mine many times on a dressy black turtleneck and always receive complements on it. I love the color and feel of the stones.

Wow! Lots of complaints about the clasp. I can open it, but I usually just put it over my head. It''s a very lovely, soft color and the design is so lady-like. The pearls do have flaws, which surprised me because I''ve never encountered that with other pearl items. But overall I loved this necklace. Many compliments.

No quality control. Necklaces arrived defective twice. Not worth the money. Be aware.

Bought the 18" and 24" necklaces and bracelet. String showed through on both necklaces and knot was unraveling on one.Returned the 24" and received a nice one which hides the string but returned the 18" 3 times and it''s worse than ever. I give up! Clasp is extremely small and I have to use my magnifying mirror to put it on and take it off. If it wasn''t so pretty I would just return everything and forget about it.... I''m really frustrated and that''s not what buying jewelry should be doing......!

This is one of the most beautiful pieces of jewelry I have. When I have shown it to my family everybody wants it. I love the subtle color of the aqua and the pears. Mune appears to have NO flaws. I''m thrilled with it and can''t wait to wear it more.

I live in the northeast and the dreaded winter is here. I watched the presentation - it included comments that the aquamarine was as beautiful as the tropical seas. I bought the necklace, and I agree. Now, when I have to endure the cold and snow, I rub the beautiful necklace and pretend I am in the tropics.

I am not pleased with this necklace because 1) the thread is way too dark and my necklace is not threaded properly. There are pieces of thread between beads that form a circular knott sticking out. The thread should run smooth through the beads. 2) The clasp is way too small. I couldn''t even get it apart. It is a shame, because the beads are beautiful and would make a stunning necklace if it were made properly.

I love this necklace for it''s colors of aquamarine and pearls together. I also like the weighty feel of this necklace. As for the clasp, it is small but I put it on over my head and haven''t dealt with the clasp. IT''S A KEEPER! |
