Calcium Reduced

I received my autoship of the "Complete for Women"- 60 packets. The calcium has been reduced by 150 mg. I am extremely disappointed. Post menopausal women, according to my doctor, need at least 1,500 mg. of calcium a day. It is extremely disappointing to receive a reformulated version of these vitamins only to find out that the ingredients I need are reduced. An explanation should have been provided with the vitamins. I feel very cheated and will, therefore, cancel my autoship order.

I was online to update my autoship for the product. I noticed the low customer rating which surprised me. I was amazed to read the postings about the nausea issue. I too have the same problem. I am a long time user of AL products. I never suspected the E was causing a problem. I notice that the Gamma E is no longer available online to order. Maybe AL is listening to us.

I am so happy with these vitamins. I have suggested them to several people. I need to take them w/ lunch, I guess more food on the stomach helps. I have had some brief and minor nausea, but tolerable, at times. I have noticed a marked improvement in energy since starting these. I don''t feel like taking a nap every single day now. I am a 37 year old female.

I`m amazed at how some people can`t tolerate these vitamins after reading several reviews. I have no problem at all with these vitamins.I know Andrew has always been over-generous in the amount of vitamins/nutrients he puts in each serving---perhaps too much of some according to the reviews. With Andrew always paying close attention to the quality of his products,he will no doubt tweak this formula to accomodate the people having problems with it.

I ordered this product with very high expectations because all of Andrew''s other products I''ve bought have been wonderful. This product upset my stomach no matter what I tried. I tried taking them with food, a few at a time at different times of the day and with small meals, at night, in short every which way I could try. It was all in vain and I had to give up. I cannot take this product and I''m very disappointed about it.

I can take the vitamins & 15 of the other capsules first thing in the morning with just a fruit or his Secure drink & I''m just fine no problems, I am a 65 year old female. Life is great!

EVERY TIME I THINK I CAN DO WITHOUT THEM (YES, I STILL TAKE CO-Q10 DAILY), I FIND A DIFFERENCE IN THE WAY I FEEL. I AGREE WITH MANY OTHERS THAT I WISH THE OIL PILL OF VIT E WASN''T IN THERE. I CAN ONLY TOLERATE ONE OF THOSE ABOUT EVERY 3 WKS. I''M SAVING THEM, THO. SENSITIVE BOWELS SINCE SURGERY.
Too much of a good thing

The latest Nutrition Action Health Letter states we should get no more than 400 mcg of folic acid -- less if male or postmenopausal women (especially if consuming cereals fortified with folic acid) because of possible colon and breast cancer. 800 mcg in Complete seems over the top for me. 700 iu of Vitamin E and 1000 mg of Vitamin C are also way too high. I have cancelled my autoship and returned the last order.

My wife bought me these, starting about 1 year ago. I sure notice a difference. More energy, BETTER at being regular and just a good overall feeling of health. |
