I purchased both colors,i live in Maine where it''s freezing and icy alot,i needed something for my feet that i could count on for warmth and comfort,i have severely dammaged feet and can only wear backless footware,birkenstocks are it for me. any of their brands have always fit me just fine,i guess i am blessed. These are wonderful as well...

I wish I had read the other reviews before I ordered. The clogs themselves are really sharp looking and I was looking for a replacement for my old shearling lined clogs. Unfortunately, they are a mile too wide, I have a narrow foot and they cannot be adjusted and the shearling lining is not what I expected it to be. It is a very thin coating inside the shoe, if it had been a heavier lining these clogs might have worked. Oh well, I''m sending them back.

wore them twice. tried to tighten the laces the second wearing and they broke. now I can''t wear them at all. For price this is very poor quality.

How these shoes got past Q.C. is a mystery to me. You can''t tighten the laces to fit your foot. Mine snapped within the first/only day I wore these shoes,and I had the laces very loose in the first place. For almost $90, these shoes should have been better made. Unless you have a relationship with a good shoemaker and are prepared to pay for a much-needed repair/revision, I suggest you avoid these shoes at all costs! Even if the price was $50 less, these shoes are no bargain.

YIKES! I barely had them out of the box when I saw that the laces were already frayed and falling apart - down to mere strips like fine dental floss! And I would have just bought new laces but these laces are apparently decorative -- you cannot re-thread new laces into the shoe. Must send them back.

barely got them out of the box and the too thin plastic-looking tie broke ... at this cost, shouldn''t have to take them to a shoe repair shop ... might try something with buckles next time ...

Stephen Ebling, I saw these clogs on the web page and fell in love with them. Pretty clogs are hard to find. I knew they would sell out so I ordered them the day before the showing. I excitedly opened the box when they arrived to find these beautiful shoes were sent in the wrong size! Of course they are all gone in my size now and I have no expectation of ever having them. Come on folks, GET IT TOGETHER.

I really wish I could rave about this style. Two steps and both shoes broke their too thin rawhide ties. They can''t even be changed as the eyelets do not go through. Maybe a shoemaker can help because they look great. |
