Not "too heavy"!

I got my Bissell 2 weeks ago and I love it! For those who say it is too heavy- a quality machine is going to have a little weight behind it! It''s really not that heavy, and the large cushioned wheels mitigate that a lot. I have had a lot of the "lightweights" and believe me, that''s how much suction they have! I have numerous allergies and this machine is doing a fabulous job for me. It''s a great buy! Very well built, solid, and good design; emptying the canister is a breeze. Thanks!
EXTREMELY HEAVY

Will probably send back. UPS left it by my front door steps - took 2 people to get it up the stairs. Couldn''t wait to vacuum and see if it really picked stuff up on the first pass - IT DID NOT. I had to make numerous sweeps over the same area and then it still did NOT pick up everything. I vacuum everyday and was surprised that this vac didn''t work any better than my old one. I vacuumed around the litter box and had to complete the job with my old vac.

I love the sunction and the attachments on this vacuum. However it is heavy! Definitely the heaviest I ever had. Luckily, the hose is long enough to not need to move it to vacuum the first flight of stairs in my house.

Everything about this vacuum is amazing except for the fact that it is exremely heavy. If you are using it for more than one room it feels like it will take your arm off. I do love everything else about it. It picks up EVERYTHING!

This is a great vacuum, immediately used it when it arrived. Couldn''t believe what it picked up - I kept telling everyone -- LOOK!!! Not to crazy about the emptying procedure had to help the canister open a bit with my hand. But other than that, very, very pleased!! You won''t be disappointed in purchasing this product. Just as good as the vacuum that starts with a D - and that super light one.

i THINK IT PICKS UP WELL, THE ONLY THING i AM NOT CRAZY ABOUT IS HOW TO EMPTY. fIRST TIME IT STICKED, DONT LIKE THAT YOU HAVE TO CLOSE THE BOTTOM WHERE ALL THE DIRT IS. NOT SURE WILL KEEP

I love this vacuum !!! It works better than my $1200 Kirby vacuum. My teenagers actually like to clean now because they can see all the dirt being removed from the carpet. I highly recommend this vacuum.The accessories are also easy to use and very convenient since they are on board.

What a great deal! This is the best vacuum I have ever had. It is indeed heavy, but it is very easy and comfortable to use and control. If you are familiar with Moon Sand and the way it gets into your carpet, worry no more, this vacuum got it up with no trouble. We have 3 boys and lots of animals, the vacuum cleans up after them brilliantly! I highly recommend this vacuum.

I have dogs and a cat and was always having to run over the same areas several times, and i vacuumed every other day. I vacuumed the day before my Bissell arrived and next morning was quite anxious to try it out. I could NOT believe how much dirt and hair was still in my carpets. I have had several vacuums(major brands) but i have never had one this efficient. WHAT A BUY for the price!!! I highly reccomend it to anyone that wants real clean. |
