Excellent all in one printer. Yes, it might be a little difficult for some to set up. The instruction book is very clear but you really need to go through it in detail. The quality of the prints are just great.

I agree with the other reviewers about being more complicated to set up. BUT,ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS READ THE MANUAL. And the manual is very well written. But, oh the rewards. It has a smaller foot print than my last Lexmark, sets low on the desk and is a dream. The printing is phenomenal and quiet. For all the features I feel that I got a bargain................well worth the price.

I was dissappointed with the quality of the picures printed from this machine. The machine did a good job of copying from my digital camera and its memory card but terrible from pictures on my computer. You must orient computer pictures before printing or they will get cut off. Also, when trying to enlarge pictures, they print very grainy. The scan feature was easy to use as well as regular copying.

My 13 year old son and I were going to set this up together, but he is at his dads for the long weekend. I decided to bite the bullet and try on my own. I followed the instructions and it was easier than I ever imagined! I was worried about trying it without my son since he is the computer guru, but it was so easy! I have not set it up to wireless for the laptops yet, but the usb set up was easy. I was not even sure what the usb set up was until I started. Highly recommend

But....me and my husband were up to it. It took us a long time to set up the machine wirelessly but it was worth it. Judging from the reviews, it prints great pictures (although have not tried it yet). What a great buy, five stars so far.

This machine was very, very easy to set up. I have to admit I really hate following a bunch of confusing directions. However, this was very simple. I especially like the way it shows the picture and words of what function you are operating. I just purchased another printer in December but this one is much better. I have not set up the wireless yet but in viewing the booklet this to is very simple. Oh and before I forget, than you HSN for the speedy delivery.

I ordered this as a TSV and I''m very pleased with it so far. This was to replace my Lexmark 5400 All-In-One series (which happened to be my 2nd one from Lexmark). The LCD color screen is worth the price itself. Also, the ink for the Brother is much cheaper than Lexmark and I like the fact that you only have to replace what has ran out instead of replacing the whole cartridge. Very easy to set up as well. I''m glad I decided to purchase this!
Confused and Broken

Got the item was very excited, I have decent knowledge of computers but this was hard to get the printer and computer to link with one another. Then the second day printer malfunctioned and would not work have to send back. That takes a week then you have to wait a couple days for another one. Not Good! Only gave 2 stars because they handled the problem and shipping was fast.

This printer is way beyond what I expected. It is great quality. What doesn''t this multi unit do? It''s awesome. It was easy to set up and connected wirelessly to my laptop without any trouble. When I scan to email from the unit it even asks If I want it sent to my "desktop" or "laptop" It is also way smaller than any other combo unit I have ever seen. This multi function printer will be everything you expect and more. 30 lbs. and was free shipping too. The extra free software is also great.

I am agree,the manual is complicated, but I will take the challenge.I wonder why my fax green light botton is always on?.RECOMMEDATION:in order to insert catridges-open the right front, and put hand inside and pull out the yelow protector,and save it,and be carefull not to messed up with colors.One problem,the DVD is worthless for me, because I have only CD insert compartment in my hard drive,but it looks fun to use. Also, the printer cannot do 8 X 10" photos. GOOD LUCK TO ALL! |
