Carolyn Strauss 5-pc wardrobe set

I got the black cherry wardrober the duster color is true to the picture a pretty berry color. But the dress tank & pants do not match they are more of a cinnimon color, does not look like they belong with the duster. Am I the only one to have this happen? It is a lovely set if colors matched, though the dress looks cheaply made with seam down the center back. I agree with others the white inside the dusters does detract from the outfit.

I love to shop HSN and have had wonderful luck. This is NOT for me. I bought the brown and it looked quite pretty on tv, but in person it was not very attractive. The material and everything was a great disappointment. I am definitely returning it. The fit was even off. What a disappointment. I thought I had returned it long ago and was cleaning out my closet and there it was in the back of my closet. I don''t know what will happen but I hope they will make a fair return.

Ilove this outfit! I was so afraid it would be too old lady-like, but these clothes can be sexy. The material has a slight shimmer to it, and the pieces can be worn in so many different ways. As soon as I received this, I picked up the phone and literally grabbed the last size medium in stock! I have the brown and black and would''ve loved to have bought the gray, as well. These clothes don''t wrinkle, so what more could you ask for? You certainly can''t beat the price!

One of the best values I have ever gotten at HSN. I was nervous as a 3X that bumps and bulges would show. This was not the case, very chic, very comfortable and versatile!

The only neg is the duster not double faced BUT its good overwelm that whine. I purchased the gunmetal.. loved it. So I purchased the brown .. yippee! Then I thought WHY NOT - so I purchased the black Dynamite! Now I am smacking my hand trying to use some measure of self control -- do I really need Black Cherry YEP! Thanks CS -- do it again

First time ordering Carolyn Strauss, but not my last. Got this in the brown and went back and ordered the black cherry. Well made and love the fabric. Yes, the fabric is thin, but it feels so good and the flow and drape is great. I''m a 62 year old great grandmother who wears a 3x and look great. Going on a cruise in April, so these are going with me. Thank you Carolyn and HSN.

I have three of these in different colors~I am a petite XL~I love the way this wardrobe makes me look~not so short and slightly slimmer. This is my first purchase with carolyn and will not be my last. thanks for the style and the value.Im HOOKED.

I bought this and tried it on, but it look more like something my mother would wear, and I''m in my 40''s. Sorry, it just didn''t work for me. I also find it showed a lot of the flaws you are trying to cover up. Sorry but I will be returning it. I do have to say if it was an outfit that was age appropriate, it was a great price.

I love the 5 pc concept, you could take the set in a carry-on bag or large purse and be ready for a week & the pieces dry fast. Yeah Petite sizing-so sick of hemming pants (5''4), the P length is perfect for me. The only downside is the white inner color on the various jackets-it''s REALLY DISTRACTING, why not pattern throughout or tint the inside the matching shade. It makes it look cheap.

I came back for the second set. Easy, always appropriate, good looking set that comes in my petite size! I too would love to see the front of the duster lined so that when it opens the printed side would show, but even the way it is is rather wearable. No-nonsense colors will go with anything and everything. Highy recommend. |
