I bought this set online for my Mother, and had it sent to her. She was thrilled to open the box, and see two sets with one in brown, and one in black, and a pair of Fly Flot shoes to complete the set. Whallahhhhh ONE HAPPY MOTHER. I love being able to find a good deal, and being able to send it to my mothers front door, and put a smile on her face. The only hard part of ordering online, is keeping my mouth shut, and not tell her it''s coming.

Back for my second set in aquamarine at a new clearance price, already have the brown. Nice selection and looks good on my plus size body. Like that I have the separate pieces to mix and match with other collections. please have more petite choices for us 4''11" people. I need a tank dress about 46" long, but if I buy the regular size and have them hemmed most of the time the top of the body of the dress is too long. please please more petites!! Love this outfit.

Excellent set, well made, color eggplant is very nice and will blend with so many other colors. Very work-appropriate. My son liked it.

Just received 2 outfits, one brown, one eggplant, both petite 1X, love colors, fit not bad, skirt a little full thru area just below hips; but my disappointment comes from the fact there is a HUGE grease spot size of a grapefruit in front of eggplant top. I wanted to wear it Sunday. Customer service is sending a replacement, but eggplant is sold out in petite 1X. Item was in a prepakaged plastic bag, so it went to HSN from the manufacturer greasy. Such a shame, average 1X may not fit.

Aquamarine is dark teal!

Nice fabric and design, but aquamarine color is not turquoise as shown; the aquamarine is dark teal. Medium skirt fit was good, but medium top fits like a large, and deep v-neck. I ordered three colors and need to send them back due to the large tops.

I use the Carolyn Strauss line primarily for travel, so I always welcome new (solid) colors to mix with all the black pieces I already own. The eggplant is a nice deep purple--not flashy at all--so I am very happy with it. The style is great for travel, too; and--as always--the fit is perfect. Funny--unlike the other reviewer, I''d like the V neckline cut a little lower :o)--but all things considered, this was a good purchase.

Love the styling of the top, especially the sleeve detail. The aquamarine does not match(or in my opinion)any other aquamarine in previous/recent CS collections. Customer Service was unable to find coordinate pieces to match the color, nor did they have any advance info on other matching pieces. To keep or to return? The rating is the average of 5 & 1 stars (design vs. color). Regardless, the styling of the top should continue in future collections (maybe with a slightly higer v-neckline). |
