Horrible Smell

I agree with the other reviews. I received my purse yesterday and used it last night. There is a horrible musty smell. I even fabreezed it and it did absolutely nothing. The purse itself is very cute, but that smell.......ugh! Like it was in soneone''s basement. Any sugeestions out there?

I love this purse. I got it in the white and it''s fabulous. I haven''t worn it yet because of the smell. I''ve had it hanging for almost a week and at least I don''t smell it when I pass it by hanging from the door handle. Does anyone have any tips on how to get the smell out of a purse? I''m afraid to spray something on the purse as it may stain it. I would have ranked this a 5 if it weren''t for the smell. Still hoping there''s hope!

I love Charm and Luck bags but this one is going to go back. I have ''aired'' the bag for over a week now and it smells as bad as it did when received....it is REALLY bad! Two crystals were missing but there was no replacement bag of crystals attached to the purse. I found it to be a bit to small for my needs as well. Even at a clearance prices, I expect more than this.

This purse is cute, but it is SO SMALL! And, the smell is horrendous! I may have to send this back because I just can''t justify spending $100 on clearance for a bag this small and I don''t know if the smell will ever come out! What are you guys thinking????

This is my second Charm and Luck bag...and my last. I was very disappointed with both bags. This one in particular is to small and as others have said, the smell is horrendous. The bag has been hanging on a hook for two months, hoping to alleviate the odor problem, no such Luck. It''s cute not cute enough to Charm me again.

I am a big Charm & Luck fan, but this is just an OK bag. In my opinion, the bling and leather just don''t work with the denim. And the smell is horrendous, simply nasty. I was hoping, as other purchasers said, it would go away. It does lessen, but by no means does it go away. I was very disappointed.

My first C&L bag and not the last. Very impressed with quality. As far as "smell" in that purse has been in plastic for a period of time only natural because of the denim leaving off a "little odor" when first opening. Not an issue. Love that they give a few extra stones in case...thoughtful selling idea. Would love to see this style in about 2" longer and 2" higher, certainly would not hesitate purchasing another color. Love the denim sparkle effect.

I ordered the dark denim and it was so beautiful, I ordered the same bag in white. It is lightweight yet large enough to carry what is needed. It does have an off odor when first opening, however, the odor disapates after being out of the plastic bag for several hours. I would recommend this bag to anyone who likes charm and luck bags but on a smaller scale and price.

I received my first C&L bag a couple of days ago in white/pearl. I live in AZ so I wore it with a black outfit. I felt like a movie star and got the looks! It''s weighty and substantial for a denim bag. The denim is treated and is thick with a pearlized effect. The leather accents and shoulder strap is also pearlized. Very lovely alternating studs & rhinestones along the sides leading to a wide stretch of leather on the bottom. Lovely pink interior to find anything. Now I''m hooked! |
