Very Disappointed

The bag looked great on TV but was very disappointing. Color and leather felt fine. Design is sloppy and useability has extremely poor security due to no secure closure -- should have had zip closing under flap or at least a magnetic snap. Lining on flap soft but loose fit. The bags hardware and rusching is what attracted me but looks sloppy on. Does not look like an expensive bag. Sending back and will watch for another that may be more secure.

I would absolutely love this bag if it had a top zipper for security. I know the flap is there but I don''t think it is enough protection. The leather is lovely.

I just received this - ordered it when it was a recent Today''s Special. OH! LOVE IT! Wish I had it in every color of the rainbow!! It''s a nice big bag, but hugs your body so you don''t feel like a bag lady. The side hardware I was concerned about, but it is understated and not heavy at all. This has moved to the front of the line in terms of my favorite purse. I have the purple - oh my! IT IS BEAUTIFUL!!!!!! More colors, please!

This is a beautiful bag. I chose the denim. Among the other Chi bags I have, this is the best.

The purse is well made. The calfskin is very soft. The only problem I had was when I took the purse of of the box one of the end caps on the bars fell off. I found it and put it back on. Be sure to check end caps and tighten them so the won''t come off.

The leather on this bag while beautiful appears to be thin. I pulled back the lining to feel the leather, and it felt spongy, as if a thin piece of leather was glued onto a backing. You can feel when the leather is thick. Not worth the money.

Lovely looking bag. Sits perfectly on my shoulder, but I was just overcome with the chemical fumes. Reading other reviews I am convinced we do not all get the same bag. The leather on my bag was not soft like butter but stiff like plastic. The lining on the flap felt likethin cheap micro fiber. I purchased a Chi bag a few weeks ago, and that leather has to be the softest I have EVER felt, but not this plethera feeling bag. Sorry...stiff and smelly and going back.

This is my first Chi and I''m in love! This bag is soooo soft and supple. The quality is impeccable. The denim is a beautiful dusty shade. The embossing is subtle and classy. The hardware is status and rich. I love the fun yet functional interior features. It''s a classic bag with a twist. I''m generally a Dooney gal but this bag is a definite keeper. I couldn''t be happier and I''ll be back for more.

This bag is lovely. I ordered the black to update my "basic black" handbag, and this blew me away. The quality of the leather is superb, and the understated elegance of the style is just what I was looking for. |
