Only Baked Goods Work
/ , FL
Oranges became wet and moldy in a few days. Lettuce was turning brown, mushy in a week. We found no use for the smaller containers. Better to sell larger ones only for baked goods.
Vented boxes are better.

Very poor results; too late to return these; will give to thrift store. Tupperware vented boxes are far superior; and similar Rubbermaid vented boxes are now on shelves of Wal Mart and Target. Also having poor result with Green Bags, and a lot of hassle to use.
DOESN''T WORK AT ALL

Big waste of money. I have tried several different things in this with no luck. These are a big joke. Save your money. To good to be true. Sizes of the containers are odd also.
These are great!!!

I love these!. I am not throwing veggies out or bananas. I didn''t believe these would work. I cleaned my refrigerator out the day I received them, put all my fresh veggies in them. I even put cut cucumbers in one container. At dinner time, I get the containers out and everyone makes the salad they want and everything is like the day I bought it. I keep my bananas in a green bag on the counter and I haven''t lost one. These are truly a money saver.
Really like these boxes!!

I almost did not order these after reading the review''s. Glad I did. Have not lost anything since I got them. No bad smells. ONly one thing would make them better. More big boxes!! The small ones are ok but the large ones are great!! I keep banana''s in one of the large ones and I have not lost one since I started using the greenboxes. Used the other large one for mini bagels and they stayed fresh till they were gone. I would order more if they came in just larger one. Thanks for $$ savers
Works But Smells
I have used the containers for mainly produce and bread. It seems to keep it very fresh but it causes the fruit to have a funny oder and my family refuses to eat it. My husband said he was surprised that the bananas stayed so fresh but they tasted different after a few days. I would like to know how this can be prevented. If there is no solution then I probably have wasted my money because my family will not eat the food if it has this oder.
Waste of Money

I bought the greenboxes as well as the greenbags. Neither work. You are better off just getting regular plastic storage containers & spending less $.
i dont understand the negative comments

just bought a second set. i use them right after returning from the grocery store, vegetables stays fresh all week. the secret is being sure the product is dry before putting it in. just put a paper towel at the bottom. i always wipe the lid dry when i open them to take something out. now, i can use all food with no waste! a loaf of bread lasts 3 weeks. i''m really saving money!
DID NOT LIKE AT ALL
DID NOT LIKE, BANANAS SMELLED BAD AFTER 3 DAYS AND GOT REAL RIPE. THE LETTUCE TURNED BROWN AFTER 3 DAYS.
A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT

These bowls are not any better than any other bowl. I was disappointed to see the poor results in these bowls, as I had expected to save lots of money on fruits and produce with them. I placed fresh bananas, tomatoes, cilantro and bread in separate bowls. Everything had mold in it after only 2 days, even with following the instructions for controlling moisture. It has been a disappointing waste of time and money. These bowls are a complete rip-off. I would not recommend these to anyone. |
