Lettuce mixes spoiled faster than if left in their original bag. I''ve noticed nothing good about these cheap items. Back they go.

I had looked forward to these bags and what a rotten product! They don''t work! Bananas looked pretty good on the outside but inside were mushy. THE BAGS ARE NOT BIG ENOUCH, much too skinny to hold heads of lettuce and don''t keep items fresh when you can force them inside. Altogether I was so disappointed and I''m surprised that HSN continues to promote this product. I am returning the bags tomorrow. NEVER AGAIN !

#1 The top tears off and you can''t open, especially on the sm bags. #2 I told my husband his bananas would last 10 days,wrong. I did not return because the cost was so low. Also I thought the lg bags would hold a loaf of bread, it doesn''t. On the bright side, what few slices of bread you can put in does stay fresher. Also lettuce stays fresher, but the lg bag doesn hold much. The top tears off all the sm bags and most of the lg, so you only get to use a few of the lg.

I got mine. They seem to be working well. Just remember the standard rules for storage of your fruit and veggies doesn''t change.If you put them in the frige before then con''t to do the same when using the bags.I saw some complaints about bananas being a problem and looked like they put them in the frige and that might have been the problem,they should be left on the counter. I think these would work better if they were wider and the ziplock worked without riping apart the bag.

Did not work! I bought some strawberries, put them directly in the bag as she says to do, about a week later, they were all mushy. Some were rotten & the ones that I was able to salvage, had an after taste.... not good!!! I also put a bag of lettuce in one of the bags & about a week later, half of it was ruined too!!! Save your money!!!!

I received the bags last week. Put some bananas in them and we have to take them out of the bag when they are green because the bags keep them great. Sure wish they were in different sizes due to the fact that alot of people do not want to cut up heads of lettuce, etc. Please make them in friendly sizes is all I can add. Thanks so much for these lovely bags.

this product is amazing! when i would by my fresh greens, inside of 1 week, they are going bad. with paper towel, mayb a day or 2 longer. With the green bags,however, they are lasting into 3 weeks, and still going! maybe 4 weeks! (this is the first time i''ve kept tract!) spinach! spring mix! brocolli! i''ve been using 4 a whole year, and just ordered some more!

I had so much hope for these bags! I was first disappointed when I opened them & saw how narrow the large bags are. Great for celery, not so much for lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower. After 4-5 days in the bags, mushrooms & cut up celery turned brown, cucumbers are going soft. It''s almost like the gas is being trapped in the bag & rotting the food itself. I''m going back to the old method of paper towel around the food in a regular ziploc bag...at least those lasted around 10 days. |
