this is a heavy makeup used to conceal flaws, spread it as thin and possible when using, really does a good job, on my age spots, red areas and such, I use a makeup sponge, just what i needed, very good product for the older face and folks with flaws to hide,nice product

I got this in light, because I needed a shade darker than my normal Chroma 1. Less is more, I''ve bought Dermablend at the dept. store that does the Thankgiving Parade for a small fortune. They said to put it on the top of my hand, let it warm to skin temperature and apply. Use a lot of setting powder, leave on 4-5 minutes and brush off. What a value!

This foundation stays on much longer than other makeup I''ve tried. Tap it in to best cover your face. However: Light is not light, but a light-medium. HSN must offer a shade lighter than what this is currently. Also, it does collect over time in the fine lines & wrinkles, not a lot, but could be improved. A long, i.e., 10+ hour, lasting, good coverage foundation, better for fine lines & wrinkles, & lighter in color would find a good, and probably loyal, market.

I totally agree with the others who said light is more like medium. Both the shades I received were too dark for my skin and I never thought of myself as very fair. I can not use it becasue it shows so I can not say if it might be good for those with darker skin

I think the color choices need to be changed because the "light" is more like a medium-tan. * A LIGHTER color option would be nice to be able to custom blend. The two "light" colors are TOO close in color. Overall he is happy so I am happy with the purchase.

I am pleased with the coverage this product provides over age spots, blemishes, and other spots that neeed concealing. i have had no problem with the coloration of the product (i bought medium) as my skin is medium. however, the product fades after a few hours & does not last 12-18 hrs as stated - even with the setting powder. Also, I was unable to use this under my eyes as it is too cakey and accentuates fine lines and wrinkles. As a spot concealer, I feel it does a better job

i couldnt wait to get both orders but it is a joke, it does not stay on 13 hours or even 3, it is messy and rubs off on everything, hsn just keeps disapointing us, we spend alot of money and fall for it every time.

I ordered the light kit and was disappointed when I received the product. I wear soft ivory foundations since I have very fair skin and these two foundations were much too dark and beigey. I used them lightly to cover some scars I have on my face, but go back with a lighter foundation over my whole face, then use setting powder. I won''t be ordering again unless they make the light foundation a true lighter color.

I ordered the very lightest shade and it is still way too dark for my fair skin. I have very light discolorations (sun spots) and the foundation would not even cover them. It is very hard to apply and cakes up and sits on top of my skin and is extremely hard to blend in. I was really hoping this would work like it seems to on TV. Hate to go to the trouble, but it is going back. It was too expensive just to trash.
What am I doing wrong?

I followed the directions and used the setting powder, but when I put my foundation on it just cakes up and makes my dark spots look even worse. It doesn''t cover it completely like the pictures in the brochure either, and some of those models have very dark discolorations on their skin. |
