The only flaw I have found in the design of this vacuum is the power cord. You must unplug after each room. This vacuum is also very heavy and I would not recommend this canister Vacuum to anyone elderly or with limited strength. In Addition, the on board tool holding receptors are very weak and appear to be easily broken. However if you want a clean home and a vacuum you can count on that never looses suction Dyson is for you and this vacuum is a great choice

The cord is too short(solved problem by purchasing a heavy duty extension cord). I love the powerhead being able to turn it on/off by depressing the button w/your foot(great for hardwood & carpet floors). The powerhead is too high to get under the furniture. Unable to use on the stairs, as can''t place on the step properly and the hose is too short for cleaning the stairs. I still love the Dyson for cleaning.

While browsing online for a new canister vacuum, I came across this product. The reviews impressed me, and I decided to get it. Also I''ve noticed the one complaint that kept coming up was the short cord. So before the vacuum even arrived, I went out and got a 9ft. extention cord. Upon receiving my vacuum, I used it right away with the extention cord, and I was able to vacuum my entire first floor(about 3,000 ft.) in one shot. Oh, and the vacuum works great, too!

The vacum is very powerful with out a doubt, but it is too heavy and very hard to manuever. Is always bumping to furniture. I only regret that if they come up with a lighter, easier to move around, I will be stuck with this heavy vacum.

I just vacuumed with my new Dyson. It is a great vacuum. Wish the cord was longer but I can deal with that for the performance. I wouldn''t change anything else. I have an upright Dyson but I like it better for quick cleanings, it is more awkward for steps. I like having the versatility of a cannister and convenience of being more compact for storage. Dyson''s are very durable too.

I have my old reliable Oreck. I had already tried 2 of the Dyson products, but until now, I cannot find the rifght one. The canister is still too high to fit under upholstery and bed, and the attachment is too short.

I am a canister person so when I saw they came out with another Dyson canister I purchased it. It has incredible suction but does not fit under furniture. It is heavy, hard to push, collapsible wand too bulky and attachments for my other Dyson don''t fit and the cord is way too short. I ended up returning it. If they come up with a redesign - I would be more than happy to put it to the test for them.

I would not part with this Dyson! The cleaning power of this vac is awsome. When using the attachments it took a little time to get the hang of it but now its easy. Don''t think twice! Buy it.

I have 14 cats, vacuum daily and am hard on vacuum''s. I have saved a fortune with this bagless wonder. My peeves are few but specific: cord is TOO short, hard floor brush is too soft and not low enough to reach under some furniture. however, this machine is powerful and fun. Ease of use took some getting used to. I"m considering purchasing a second and will definately purchase any and all attachments as the come available.Don''t hesitate to buy this.

I NOW OWN 2 DYSON VACUUMS- ONE FOR UPSTAIRS, ONE FOR DOWNSTAIRS. NO OTHER VACUUM CAN COMPARE. MANUVERS EASILY AND PICKS UP EVERYTHING ONCE OVER. MY ONLY REQUEST/SUGGESTION--PLEASE, PLEASE MAKE THE CORD LONGER. AGAIN, SIMPLY THE BEST! |
