Great for dry lips, especially in winter cold

I have tried a number of lip balms for dry lips. Most dry off and are gone within an hour or two. This product moisturizes and protects my lips from drying out and it lasts all day. I would highly recommend it.

I did not have any problems with this feeling gritty...in fact, it feels so smooth and light, and it leaves just the right amount of shimmer on my lips. It''s great to use with lipstick for a little extra moisturizing and shine.

I tried a zillion other balms before this. It REALLY stays on all day/night (must reapply after eating & kissing, but I can cope). Others contain menthol or eucalyptus, (too irritating), must be applied every time you breath, or smell/taste rancid before half used. This has a nice very light scent, no taste, & last ages. Could do w/o ''exfoliant beads'' but THIS BEATS ALL OTHERS-even pricier health & dept. store goo! Once again-NICE GOING & thanks Amanda & Skip!

I take a lot of medication and my lips are always dry. I''ve tried every lip balm on the market, and none has worked as well as this product. I would recommend this product to anyone who has paiinful, dry, cracked or chapped lips.

I received this product in a kit and would NEVER have kept it if it was an individual purchase. There are hard, gritty bits in the salve (possibly the shea butter?) that need heat to melt them down into a more spreadable consistancy. If put directly on your lips, the little grains look like food or just fall off to melt somewhere into your clothes to create a nice smudge... Just but a tube of gloss and forget this stuff!

I love this lip balm. It is a very well thought-out product as the exfoliating beads melt away with your body heat as you rub it in and your lips are nicely moisturized. This saved my lips after a long airplane trip from India to California where my lips got wrecked by the dry air in the cabin. I stocked up the last time it was on sale and now I''ve got them stashed everywhere. Plus the tub lasts for a long time too!.
I wouldn''t be without this product.

The lip balm was just average that you could purchase at a discount store. The lip balms were only .4oz each & shipping chg. was $4.95.

I am an Equestrian and generally deal with dry chapped lips throughout the year but especially in the winter. I have drawers of useless lip balms. I ordered this and on the day it arrived my lips were in the worst shape they have been in awhile. I put this on the minute I got it and again later in the evening. This morning I woke up and my lips did not have a dry spot on them - all the dry flakes had come off and my lips were smooth. Needless to say I will be using this product faithfully. |
