I am 50 and have tried many foundations,many twice the cost.Do your skin care,exfoliate,masks,serum..then spray this on for a flawless complexion. You barely have to dab your face, whereas with others you have to do a lot of that, esp if you have wrinkles. Since I have been using this product I have gotten more compliments,they say I look younger,great,gorgeous.I haven''t done anything different except for using this.If you go one shade darker than usual it really makes you look radiant.

I am an african-american woman & purchased the R9 Toast Chestnut.I am throwing out ALL of my other foundation TODAY! Ladies just use common sense. I sprayed it on a sponge & applied. From there I followed the directions at step 4 to press and buff. It blended PERFECTLY with my skin. I also waited about 10 minutes rubbed my finger on one of the areas that I applied the foundation then wiped my finger on a white piece of paper and NOTHING CAME OFF. Women of color you HAVE to try this product :)!

I recently started using this foundation and I''ve never gotten so many compliments on how nice my face looks. It gives a flawless finish and full coverage. It''s definitely not for someone looking for a light foundation. I spray directly on my face and use the puff to spread. THe only thing it doen''t cover is my dark circles but I use a concealer with it and I love the results.

Spraying directly on the face is too heavy. It''s messy and has an unappealing odor (which dissipates). I took another reviewer''s advice and sprayed it onto the cosmetic sponge, patted it on my face and then smoothed it to blend. This method was better but still is a bit fake-looking. It has a matte finish, not dewey. My face felt tight and dry after, and I could "feel" that I was wearing foundation. I won''t buy again. I don''t recommend this product. It wasn''t worth the money.

I love this product,although I was a bit skeptical at first. As an woman of color, I find some companies do not get the darker shades right! They are either ashy, muddy, or just "off" period! This product is NOT like that. The coverage is natural and NOT ashy, etc. I would also like to mention the color chart is right on (not video chart). I use Rich Amber--think actress Nia Long''s complexion. Women of color-don''t be afraid! This is really good stuff.

My only complaint is the smell but it does go away. BUT the finish on my face is gorgeous!!! I seriously could not believe how flawless my complexion is wearing this base. LOVE!

I have used this product three times. Each time I apply the product, I find the smell of it repugnant. Because of that, I don''t want to use it as much as I probably would. I catch a whiff of it as the day goes on and I think others around me surely can smell it as well. That is why I give it a 3 star rating. Fragrance free would be so much better!!

This product is okay. I really didn''t like the way it went on, or the smell. I got just as good covereage with regular foundation you put on with your hand or brush (powder or liquid).

After "playing" with the product for a few times, I finally got it to work for me and WOW!!!` This is the best foundation I''ve ever used. I put a little on a sponge and use as a concealer and then lightly spray my face and pat with the sponge- that''s it! It takes a minute at the most with the most amazing results. I have very dry skin with deep wrinkles on my forehead and this doesn''t settle in them at all. My face looks perfectly smooth and radiant. You gotta try it!

VERY GOOD! I have dark spots and need the coverage, I HATE to look made up. I have tried almost everything out there. And though I like other brands as well, this one covers the best in the areas I need it, with no Cake/heavy look. Once you get the hang of it, it''s really easy and fast. I could complain about one thing it''s hard to pick a color , plus it looks like they are sold out of alot. But that said, i got lucky on one and the other is dark, but I use that lightly to look a tan. |
