GREAT computer! Be paitent with VISTA, and don''t be in a hurry setting up this computer. Don''t hook up any extras such as a printer, cordless keyboards or web cams untill after this computer is set up!!! Vista goes NUTS! But after you install all your extras, it runs EFFORTLESS! Thanx HSN for a great Deal and Gateway for your great Support.
 
Disappointed    5/18/2008
I bought this desktop as my 3rd Gateway in a 30 day period, I also bought 2 17" laptops. The monitor on this desktop is nice but goes crazy...it cuts itself on and off when it''s not suppose to. Called customer service and they blew me off. Problem still not fixed but over 30 days so can''t send back. I find this triple core slower than my old computer running xp. Should have stopped with the first 2.

We have 2 gateway computers. Ordered this one thinking it would be the best. Wrong. It will not let us download files from xp windows with file transfer for dummys. Can''t download programs from the net. vista will not let you. Can''t even install our printer. Vista will not let you. Don''t buy.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, THIS SYSTEM. IT WAS DEFINITELY WORTH THE WAIT! I WAS ABLE TO SET THIS SYSTEM UP RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX WITH A LITTLE HELP FROM MY 11Y/O. IT IS SOO EASY TO USE. IT LOOKS LIKE I PAID MUCH MORE THAT WHAT I DID. I BOUGHT THIS BECAUSE I WANTED TO UPGRADE MY CURRENT SYSTEM. WOW WHAT AN UPGRADE. I WENT FROM A YUGO TO A MASERATTI. THANKS GATEWAY AND HSN FOR TEAMING UP TO BRING US SUCH A AWESOME SYSTEM.
 
Very Poor Tech Support and Customer Service / Brian, ND   5/6/2008
In two weeks my computer died. Tech support sent a replacement power supply and said call back for help installling it. When I called back, they couldn''t help. The tech said they didn''t have any pictures to show where all the plugs went. I did get it put in, but the computer still wasn''t working. When I told the tech I wanted to return it, I was put on hold for ten minutes! I finally hung up and called back in only to find out I had to call 1-800-GATEWAY to return a system, not the number given!

After I upgraded the RAM to 4 GB, I was a happy camper! I''ve never had a problem with Gateway computers and I don''t expect that I ever will. The monitor is beautiful and the favorite part of my purchase. Buy it you won''t be disappointed! I have been using computers before there was Microsoft Windows, so I think I know what I''m talking about.

I''m sorry that the other customer is having problems with his computer but, for me.. this thing is awesome. It has plenty of USB slots as well as other slots. Last year I bought a Gateway laptop with a 17" Monitor and thought the picture was beautifull.. it''s nothing compared to this thing. Watching live TV and DVDs on the 24" HD Monitor is a blast. After upgrading the speakers, the sound and picture are excellent. Portait mode is great for looking at long documents and slideshows.

I LOVE MY GATEWAY USED RIGHT OUT THE BOX, PURCHASED THE 22" FOR MY DAUGHTER SHE LOVES IT, MY SON WALKED INTO MY OFFICE AND ALL I HEARD WAS WOW!!! THE PICTURE IS GREAT, ITS FAST AND THE PRICE IS RIGHT. THANKX AGAIN GATEWAY KEEP IT COMMING!!!!!
 
The Best Computer I have owned    4/29/2008
I recieved my 22" desktop the other week, I have to say this is the best purchase i have ever made. It is quiet and has awesome speed. The picture quality is also great.

I love this computer the LCD 22" screen is amazing. it''s a great buy. Although shipping took long. Nothing to do with HSN. But it was worth the wait. Very very very happy.
