Beautiful & A Great Buy!

I didn''t really expect much from this set, considering how inexpensive it was. But I needed a set and decided to try this because I liked getting all the pieces in one set. I was AMAZED when it arrived--the blue has a subtle but powerful presence. Even my husband (who usually notices nothing!) commented on how nice it was. He also likes the weight of the comforter--warm and cozy without being heavy. Our 30-something daughter, who is a real expert on such things, was also very impressed with the look of it. The only reason I didn''t give it 5 stars was because the curtain panels really should be a little wider, as should the valances. I''d like the comforter a little longer, but it fits as well as most comforter sets do on our king 4-poster bed. I''ve only found one comforter, even in the various oversized sets I''ve bought, that was actually long enough. I think this is an incredible value.

I am tired of the Promises and No Delivery! This is the second Highgate Manor set that I have purchased. They ''Do Not Fit'' the size mattress in today''s market. The fabric has a cheap look to it. Too much of a cheap sheen. No one in my family or friends, that have looked at it, likes it. PLEASE MAKE A COVER THAT ACTUALLY -COVERS - TOP TO BOTTOM, SIDE TO SIDE! You MUST be using a King to display on a Full or Queen in order to look good on camera! NOT A FAIR REPRESENTATION!!!

I have had very expensive bedding snag on me and I wanted a set that would not. It seem this is a delcate set. I have a silk set worth over $700 that snagged on me boo hoo! I hoped this set would not. I got the BEAUTIFUL European looking blue. Many Jacuards can be delicate at times. I hope to see a difference with this one, but maybe not huh? Lets see if get to keep it?, I have a cat that like my bed ugh!Oh so pretty a set!
You really do get what you pay for

Although the set is pretty, it is very insubstantial. The fabric appears cheap, and in this age of oversized bedding to fit deep matresses, both the top sheet and the comforter are better described as undersized. The comforter is fairly flat (at least it will fit in the washing machine). The sheets come out of the dryer a wrinkled mess. I ironed the pillow cases and still couldn''t get the wrinkles out of them.

Terra cotta more coppery bronze, no real orange. Fabric unravels, loose threads on every shower ring (sign of low-quality fabric). Shower rings are cheap plastic, hard to use & 1st one broke as I was closing it. Comforter lightweight. Shower curtain has rows of orange threads that run horizontal thruout & stand out when you walk in room, a sign of low-quality fabric sold as seconds. I have another comforter from them with cotton-based fabric & it is top quality, warm & worth the money.

I ordered this in gold, which is more green than gold, but that''s what I was expecting.The quality if this set is pretty pathetic, The comforter is about 6 inches too short for my pillow top mattress. The design is pretty. Actually W--Mart has better qualilty. You get what you pay for. This cheap and that''s exactly how it looks.

I received the terra cotta set last week, I think it is one of the better things I ordered from HSN and I didn''t have to return it. It makes the room pop and the comforter is warm whithout beging too heavy.

I love the set and the color but you have to be careful or the comfortor will snag. I will keep the set because of the color. It looks really nice in my bedroom...

I received the terra cotta and it looks fine. But reviewig it up close, the stitching is coming apart. I am sending it back.

I got this in Terracotta on TS for $179.Hard to beat that price,but it''s not super high quality.It''s very pretty,the comforter is fluffy and soft.But before I had the skirt on I saw the threads were coming loose.My husband has snagged his watch 3 times in the last hour on the comforter.I worry it won''t hold up to normal use and washing.The sheets are NOT quality,I use my high count ones.If it snags more, I''ll return it. |
