I BOUGHT THIS THE FIRST TIME IT CAME OUT AND I WAS SO SAD AND DISAPOINTED WHEN I RECEIVED IT AS IT JUST IS NOT CUTE NOR DOES IT LOOK LIKE IT DOES IN THIS PICTURE. ALSO, I AM REALLY UPSET NOW AS HAVE YOU ALL SEEN THE GORGEOUS DOG CAMEO THAT JUST CAME OUT? IT IS DONE BEAUTIFULLY AND OF COURSE IT COSTS A FORTUNE BUT WHY COULDN'T THEY MAKE A CAT LOOK GOOD LIKE THAT DOG YET AFFORDABLE. I LOVE CATS AND HAVE QUITE A COLLECTION OF CAT THINGS AND I WOULD SPEND MORE MONEY TO GET A DECENT CAT CAMEO. I WISH SOMEONE WOULD READ OUR REVIEWS AND FIX THE PROBLEM AS THE GENERAL THINKING WAS VERY DISSAPOINTED CUSTOMERS.

I received my cameo the other day and have to say that it looks nowhere near as adorable as the picture. The face is totally off center and it just doesn't even look like a cat. I will be returning it and am not sure if I'll exchange it or not. Probably not, I'm quite concerned about getting another one that looks just as bad.
It looked nothing like the picture.

I was so happy to be able to get this after being on backorder for a long time. I was so disappointed when I received it - it looked nothing like a cat which was so cute in the picture. I have been happy with everything else I have ordered from them.

This feel apart after only a few wearings. The setting is not durable and will not hold up. I'd rather pay a little more for a better setting. The actual cameo is adorable.Too late to send back as I got it for Christmas, wish I would have known sooner it would break.

Received the first cameo and although I loved the sculpture of the cat, the bale was not centered properly, and the pendent hung on a slant. Sent it back and received one that was purrfect. When I wear the cameo it makes me feel close to my cat even when I'm not home with her!! P.S. To the person who said that the initials were PJ, and HSN said her initials were PI. I thought it was a J too, but after looking at it more closely, it could pass for a capital I. Whatever her initials are, she does beautiful work!

I think this is a beautiful whimsical piece for cat lovers. You won't find this in more traditional cameo carvings so it is unique. The cat is very well carved and luxurious looking.

As a kitty lover, I was disappointed in this cameo. I know it must be difficult to carve animals but mine actually looks like a scottish terrior. I haven't decided if I'll send it back and try another or not.

My cat cameo arrived today, and it is a PURRfectly sculpted/carved cat. A previous reviewer stated that hers looked like a Koala Bear. A Koala Bear does not have the small pointed ears and long furry tail like this cat, nor does a Koala Bear's face resemble this cat's. This cat is a long-haired, furry cat. The artist did a beautiful job of sculpting the cat, especially the tiny facial features. Anyone who can carve anything onto the hard shells using small handheld tools is very talented. It would be nice, however, if HSN would include the full name of the artists and a description. I saw the initials "PJ" on the bottom of the cat and asked HSN if those were the artist's initials. HSN's reply was that the cat was carved by a cat lover named Patrizia Iannaconne. That still does not explain the initial PJ. If anyone knows why the artist uses the initials PJ when her last name starts with I, please post it in your review. A big thanks to PJ for carving such a beautiful cat.

Like the previous review..my cameo did not resemble a cat. I have a white cat and thought I would love this. It doesn't and was poorly made with very little gold. I love HSN, but this is not up to your standards. It is going back. (It was also ordered under your waitlist and I was never informed it was being sent). Greatly disappointed

I guess it could be a hit or miss on this one. I love how the one pictured looks, but being that they are hand crafted,and each will be different...Mine looked more like a shaggy koala (still cute of course for our Aussie friends)then a cat. Don't want to try and chance it again. Back it went =/ |
