I get endless compliments, but it''s HEAVY! The leather looks like faux leather due to its very fine grain. It needs a more secure closure. Assumed I could link the two straps to make it cross-body, but, though hardware is A+, can''t unfasten the hooks! The leather above the grommet they hook through is too big. Still a huge bargain! (I don''t know what person meant about not being real shag???)

The quality certainly isn''t worth the original cost of $100. I''m totally in love with the bag and recommend it to anyone for the clearance price, but certainly not a penny more. It''s fun and different. My only complaints are that it appears to have numerous tiny speckled bleach spots on the inside lining. the top stitching and construction are shoddy, and the shag sides could be slightly thicker. It certainly isn''t made of real or quality shag carpet.

Love this bag--bought black. My only critique is that it is heavy, but it is just lovely!! If this comes again in another style, please add more inside pockets and maybe a zip closure. Unique!!! Beautiful!! |
