Another disappointment

I am always on the hunt for the perfect foundation. This one isn''t it. To me, it''s no more like glorified face powder. If you''re like me and have dark spots left behind by acne, don''t expect this to cover them unless you layer it with another product, such as liquid foundation, which is a bother. I found the consistency and color to be a little too chalky for me, too (I''m light-skinned African American). Oh, well, on to the next brand!

All the other reviews were so good-I thought I would try- but for me it wasn''t good. Only used it once & my skin was a shiny mess in about an hour after applying. I had to blot constantly throughout the day. I just sent back today. As for the lip glosses-only 2 of the colors were wearable. Sorry NP.

I knew I would love the found. after reading the reviews from the found. that comes w/o the lipgloss set. So simple to apply, lightweight yet covers imperfections, satiny airbrushed finish, staying power.. I do take it with me to touch up once during the day (just in my T zone),and it goes on so smooth, with no need to even blend. I ordered Lt-Med and it was too lt. so I called CS and they sent out an xchg right away(thumbs up for HSN''s CS, they are the best!)Oh and the lipglosses are great too!

Until Napoleon came to HSN, I never heard of this line, even though I now discovered his store in Topanga Plaza where all of his makeup is so nicely displayed. I love nice pagacking, and you get that with Napoleon. I love quality makeup and you get that too. Love the Renee lip gloss in this collection. The powder makeup also seems nice (although have not actually wore it yet). HSN. does give you way better deals on his products.

I have been using this for a week, I love the finish. It does not look like a powder on my skin. It looks flawless. Have been using BE in the past but you can see it on the skin. This just looks flawless. When I saw the lip colors I thought these are going to look to bright. I love these colors and they last for hours without any fading. Will definately buy this again.

I REALLY LIKED THIS FOUNDATION. I HAVE OILY SKIN AND THIS IS GREAT. NICE COVERAGE AND MOST OF THE GLOSSES ARE NICE COLORS TOO. I USUALLY USE B.E. AND THIS IS WAY BETTER. MAKES THE PORES LOOK SMALLER, WHERE AS FOR ME B.E. MAKES THEM LOOK BIGGER FIVE STARS FOR THIS ITEM!

This makeup is a nice surprise! I always use the "minerals" type, and this gives a much smoother coverage (I''m 42). A brush worked better (gives a smoother, prettier finish) than the sponge they give to apply it. Glosses - very nice, just suggest a better /different variety of colors. There are 2 orange shades, 2 pink shades, and a nice taupe. Would be nice to have had a red shade and a brown shade, cuz you don''t need 2 oranges and 2 pinks. Just suggestions - but I''m pleased I purchased it! |
