Love the sparkle but where is my NB pop?

This ring has stunning workmanship and the center stone sparkles. However I must agree with the others that if the amy was a deeper purple it would have been another NB winner. It''s missing his incredible pop of color. I haven''t decided yet, I like the look of the ring on my finger but I''m not sure if it''ll be one of my favs. I have many NB pieces and Raj is a great collection.

I saw this ring on air and flipped.what a georgeous ring. I have always wanted to get a NB ring and thought this ring was the ''Jewel of the Nile''.I read the other comments as I anxiously awaited for my ring to arrive. The colors are almost non-existant. one of the things that makes NB jewerly far superior to others is not only the excellent workmanship BUT the colors of magic. This ring has excellent workanship BUT without the magic of NB''s colors, it not a keeper. :(

I agree with first review. I have several Nicky Butler pieces. The workmanship in this ring is excellent, the color of amethyst stones however is very light, not at all the color of the stones online or in the show. And because the prasiolite (sp) is very light green, almost clear, the entire ring has no color. Sadly I will be returning this ring.

I am sending this ring back because while the workmanship is gorgeous, the stones are so washed out, they almost look clear. |
