NO HELP AT ALL!

As I was beginning my day this morning...low and behold my car would not start. Battery wasn''t completely dead but car would not crank. I had just purchased the porta-jump about a week before. I got it out, did what it said to do...and nothing! I can''t begin to tell you how disappointed I was. I had to call my brother-in-law to come use his cables to start my car. VERY DISAPPOINTING!! Fortunately I will be able to send it back for a refund.

Didnt work! I got two of these and it was too late to send them back after trying one that didnt work. Glad I hung on to my cables.

I left the map light on in my car over the week end. I tried using the Porta Jump device. It would not charge the battery. This was a brand new car with a brand new battery. I had to call a motor club. This product did absolutley no good for me. Don''t waste your money.

work truck sat for 2 weeks.dead battery.just got my new little gadget.didnt help.ended up jump starting it.maybe if battery aint too old it might be o.k. but if your battery isnt that bad you dont need to worry anyway.mines goin back.nothin ventured nothin gained.
Saved me in the middle of nowhere!

I go out riding on my dirt bike at least once a month. This last time I happened to bring my new toy, this porta jump! Well, thank God, because we were out in the middle of nowhere and when we returned to my truck, the battery was dead! The porta jump worked fast and easy, and saved us from a lot of time and trouble!!

it seems to be a hit or miss w/ this product. reviews indicate it works or doesn''t. mine worked once. worth it for me? no. i suppose it would be a cute gaget to have in certain instances. i would rather have this than nothing in my car but wouldn''t depent on it in a serious situation. i''ve since bought a dependable one from sears. please read the other reviews and see if it will work for you.

Saw this item and I thought this would be great alternative to jumper cables. Already had to use it on my neighbors car, he was impressed.

My Mom is always leaving her lights on, and running down the battery. Just a couple days after I gave her the Porta-Jump in fact, she drained the battery AGAIN. She followed the instructions and was back on the road. It worked like a champ. I''m happy that I don''t have to have the old rusty jumper cables ready at a moments notice anymore! |
