Another Great RTW Kit!

This is my third RTW kit and the colors in this one are just gorgeous! I took this one with me on a business trip last week and it was perfectly adaptable for day-to-evening looks. At home, I leave this out on my dresser with the plastic on top and then just zip it into the groovy patent case when I want to take it along. So impressed with the quality of this line! -- more please!

Dreamy colors, perfectly complimentary eye shadows, lipstick super moisturizing wine color w/hint of gold, gloss adds just right amount of shine. Kit is PAINT BY NUMBERS of beauty. I wish lipsticks were offered a la carte! Also, great deal for price! This is my 2nd RTW "kit" & am not a kit girl...I ordered becuz am former MAC DEVOTEE and was TOTALLY curious to see what this was like. Am absolutely DELIGHTED with RTW.

I guess I expected better.The mascara is water-proof, which means it took forever to get off. It also felt very stiff on my lashes. The lip-gloss is very goopy. Ok if you''re 17. The powder and blush portions are so tiny, and the powder applicator is a joke, just a small piece of foam. The eyeshawdows are creamy feeling and very nice fall colors. I don''t know if it''s worth $35 just for the eyeshadows. I''ll wear it a few days and see, but it''s probably going back.

Even though this kit came with one of the eyeshadows broken, the colors are wonderful. I called c.s. and another one is on the way. This isn''t the first time makeup has come broken but I must say that HSN is so good about correcting any problems that I''ve encountered. They have always been very accomodating and courteous. I can''t wait to receive the new one as these colors are different than the other RTW kits I''ve gotten. Love this brand! |
