I have used SSC glycolic cleanser for 10 years now. It was great. I have to agree with the others. This product has changed. In the last several months my skin has started to break out again. Nothing has changed in my life, so it''s not that. The product does not seem as strong, and it''s just not cleansing the way it has in the past. I am looking for another product.

I recently went on auto ships for this, but after further research I had cancelled. My chief complaint is the percentage of glycolic acid used, again, I am finding your products expensive and small amounts of key ingredients. Sorry Jen, I have found a 10 percent glycolic acid with more ounces and less money...I''m pretty much done with your line...good luck

I too have received stinky product. I called and was told nothing had changed and was given no explanation for the bad smell. So I struggled through the odor and have used it for a few weeks now. I do not find the same results as in the past. Something has definitely changed! SSC has very loyal clients; the lack of respect they have demonstrated is very disappointing. It''s time they took responsibility for this problem. After using this for almost 10 years, I will be looking for a new cleanser.

I am new to SSC and this Glycolic Cleanser is the best! I started using it about 5 days after I got a spa facial. This cleanser makes my skin feel that good! I love that you put it on dry skin first, gives me a chance to let the water warm up while I''m applying it. I expected a little burn or irratation to my sensitive skin, but there was none. I have very oily skin with regular breakouts and it was a dream at controling the oil! This is a must try!

Like many that have posted their review, I have, too, noticed (and smelled) a HUGE difference with the new formulation. I have used this cleanser for over 11 years, and absolutely loved it. But, the new formulation smells like stale fish and has a very watery-like texture. It used to be very thick, non-irritating, and had a pleasant aspirin-like smell. What happened??? SSC has definitely lost a long-time customer. I''m going back to Paula''s Choice.

I have been useing this cleanser for over 3 years now.cleanser It has kept my skin looking beautiful for the past 3 years. However, I, like many of the other customers, have noticed that my last shipment was different. My face has started to BREAKOUT HORRIBLY for the first time in years. This is not the same cleanser/formula that got me hooked on this product and gave me flawless skin. MY skin looks terrible.The consistency of the cleanser is different. BRING BACK THE OLD.

I had not used this cleanser in the past couple of years but am going to give it another try. If after using 1 week and have problems I will send it back. I haven''t noticed much of an odor. Perhaps SSC prefers us to try their newer items they come out with, and is cutting back on original ingredients in their older products? Or is Jennifer getting greeding and trying to cut dollars since we her devoted clients have made her a millionaire?

Something changed in its ingredients. I''ve been using this products for years and I can not live without it. But recently the products I get is very watery and it has brown spots sometimes. I returned it twice already. Also it seemed to have lost the acidic smell. I want the old glycolic cleanser back!

new ingredients, smells like rotten fish instead of aspirin. Guess I''d gotten used to the aspirin scent and can''t abide the dead fish/wet dog like Philosophy''s "hope in a jar" and now my autoship was scent with this awful scent. SSC/HSN is close to losing a skin care customer entirely--I''ll go back to Avon''s/Mary Kay''s slower science and SSC can concentrate on their new MLM plan--obviously we who use these products don''t count. Spread the word! |
