I get lots of comments on my butterfly bag. It seemed a bit stiff when I first got it but the leather has softened. When I put it over my shoulder it fits snugly under my arm. Wish the strap were longer and that the inside had divided pockets instead of just pockets on the sides - things get lost in the bottom of the bag, but I will organize things in pouches. I''ve never spent more than about $40 on a bag in my life, but this is so beautiful and unusual that it''s a keeper.

No question this bag is beautiful, and I love the way it looks, but the bag is a bit small and the strao is a bit short. So I am debating weather to keep it or not.
Beautiful but design flawed

I took this out of the box and was so thrilled with the beautiful design, the blend of colors, the artwork. It is perhaps the most beautiful Sharif bag I have ever seen. But when I tried to put in my shoulder, the handle was way too short. I tried standing it up to carry like a satchel, but the handle was stiff and cumbersome and in the way of the purse opening, not to mention that the purse does not have a bottom to really stand on. Sadly, it goes back.

The first thing that strikes your eye is the portrait, then the beautiful blend of colors. I''m actually walking around with a piece of art. The workmanship is perfection.

This bag is simply stunning in its artwork. Only one problem, not functional. It''s basically two pieces of leather (one collage and the other more plain) sewn together, with a handle. There''s no bottom and no way that I can find to comfortably carry the bag -- the shoulder, hand or resting in the crook of my elbow are not options. This whole flat as a pancake doesn''t work for me, but the collage is gorgeous.

WOW!!!! When I removed the tissue paper from this bag, I was not expecting something so beautifu1! It literally had me gasping. I ordered the Geisha bag & all I can say is this is a work of art. This does not look like a $165+ handbag. This looks more like a $1,650+ handbag. This is the kind of handbag that you would found in an exclusive handbag salon behind a locked glass case. Ladies, if you can manage this one, go for it. You will NOT be disappointed!

I just received the Butterfly. Incredible work of art!!! I almost feel that I should frame it! I find myself stopping and going back just to look at this purse. It''s beautiful. Worth every penny. Now my only decision is what outfit do I wear to work tomorrow that will show off this purse the best!

i bought both designs, one for my mom and myself. its beautiful as it is in the picture as it is in person. excellent detailing, not heavy, easy to get into and big enough for a day bag. love the artwork! |
