On the Bandwagon: Remove the Dye, Please!!
/ Samantha, PA
Not only does it stain the tub red, but this red granular material also floats to the ends of the tub (by your feet and head) & won''t dissolve. Didn''t like the smell either; perfumy. After the second try with 2 T; I broke out in a rash. Good concept, poor product. I''d try it again minus the dye & fragrance.
Remove the DYE Please
Totally agree with other reviewers. Did anyone in quality control ever test this product? No one wants their tub stained red. I enjoyed the fragrance it left in the room more so than on my skin. Kind of an "old lady" scent.
Take out the red dye and it will be a winner.

The scent is fabulous, and the skin absolutely feels soft and refreshed after using this. But, I would not use this on a fiberglass tub unless you enjoy hard scrubbing and cleaning. It's less work on porcelain, but still aggrivating. I think if the dye were eliminated it would be great.
Don't buy this
I agree with the other poster about the red getting all over the tub and my skin, I didn't like it either. I got it in a kit, had to return entire kit. Some of the other products were okay.
Red Cavior Beads
I also received this product as part of a kit and echo the previous shopper's comments. The scent is nice but it turns the bath water blood red color. This is not at all appealing and I have yet to figure out how to remove the red residue it leaves on my tub. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it. I think this should be called a red sea product rather than a dead sea product.
Great Scent!

I too received this in a kit. I only shower, and so I dissolved the beads in a bowl and sponged it over myself after my regular shower routine which I found very refreshing and still had the benefits of the softening and scent. I did notice the residue mentioned by the other reviewer, however, since I had dissolved it in a bowl, it was not a problem for me. The scent is wonderful and I will continue to use this product!
Won't use again

I got this product in a kit and I only used it one time. It is similar to bath oil beads and my skin was nicely scented and soft, but what I didn't like about it is that it left red stuff all over our tan fiberglass bathtub. After my bath I tried to scrub it off with tub cleaner, but it took my husband's muscles and his heavy duty grease remover to get it off the tub! Very odd. Also, it tints the bath water a reddish color. |
