I see that this kit has gotten some pretty good reviews but that was not my experience. I just returned this kit because both times I used the mascara I ended up with ugly black smudges under my eyes. The eye liner was no better - it went on gloppy and I had to smooth it out with my fingertip. The shadow was alright but for me the mascara and the liner were definite losers. I usually love Adrienne''s products so I''m really disappointed this time.
Shorten the wand on the eyeliner please

I ordered this for the eye shadow and I like it. I have brown eyes and black hair and the neutral color really brings out and brightens my eyes. The mascara thickens and lengthens my lashes, yeah! However the wand on the eyeliner could stand to be much shorter and that''s why I didn''t give this a 5 star rating.

I was a bit skeptical about the eyeshadow, but it''s as wonderful as the liner and mascara. It would rate 5 stars if the eyeliner wand wasn''t so long. In order to work around that, I dip my own liner brush into the container and it goes on perfectly!
love this BUT...THE EYELINER WAND IS TOOOO LONG!

I was so happy to finally order a liquid eyeliner from Adrienne''s line....but the extra long wand is too difficult to get a great, smooth line.....why not make this in normal size??

I have never found a mascara that delivers like this one and the eyeliner lasts through an hour aerobics class without melting or smearing. I''m sold and a user for life, Adrienne. Thanks for making affordable makeup for working women like me!!!

I, too, find the liquid eyeliner difficult to control. I ordered this kit to see if I could draw a straight line on my eyelids - ha! I''ll stick to the pencil liners. If this kit had contained her pencil eyeliner, I would have kept it.

I WISH ADRIAN WOULD MAKE IT WATERPROOF. DON''T EVER CUT ONIONS OR CRY. YOU WILL LOOK LIKE TAMMY FAE BAKER. THE EYE SHADOW IS NICE,BUT THE EYELINER IS A LITTLE CUMBERSOME TO APPLY BECAUSE OF THE LONG WAND.

All the items in this kit are really good, and I would have given it 5 stars, except...I don''t use liquid eyeliner (too hard to control), and would have preferred one of Adrienne''s pencil liners to be included. But hey, that''s just me! :) All in all, it''s a great little kit. |
