I have been using the belt once everyday since April 1st. The gelpads are still in great condition. No signs of having to replace them yet; that is over six weeks now. The gelpads come 3 to a pack. That is $11.65 a pair. I really don''t think that is too unreasonable. Gently wetting the pads before each use and keeping your skin clean helps them to wear longer.

I would not recomend the Slendertone because of the high cost of the GelPads and you cannot continue to use the Slendertone without purchasing the GelPads - not to mention also always having to replace the batteries. Dissapointed in HSN the price could be lower.

HSN, stop being greedy. Sell these replacement pads at a reasonable price or Slendertone will not last on your network long term.

It is too expensive to use. It only last for two weeks. I wish they would make it less expensive for customers who wants to continue with the program.

I''ve used the belt once a day for a week now and the pads are not working. It will be too expensive to continue. I went back to doing sit-ups and its better than the belt and sit-up work if you do it everday for 5 mins.I was also reading the manual and they do not know the long-term effects of eletronic stimulation.
Great, but not for everyone.

The Slendertone is a wonderful product for the right audience. It is effective when used in conjunction with a comprehensive fitness regimen. IT IS NOT EFFECTIVE NOR DESIGNED FOR WEIGHT REDUCTION. The pads feel sticky but remove with absolutely no residue IF APPLIED TO CLEAN SKIN. Sweaty, oily skin will quickly deteriorate the pads. I have had no problems using the same pads twice a day for 40 minutes and only replace the pads after 6 weeks of use.
I like it and it seems to make a difference

The pads do seem expensive, but I think the mistake people make is working out while wearing it and getting the pads all sweaty, dirty, etc. You must lose some weight, I don''t think you can have a giant gut and expect this to change that. I had back surgery last year, so situps are out for me. I was able to find a coupon code online for new customers before buying from HSN and so I was able to get the belt for $104 and change with free shipping.
Great when working on computer or at night.

I have been using the product for a few months once a day at night for 40 min at 95-99 speed when I am working on the computer or watching tv. I have not needed to replace my pads yet (getting close). My batteries just died though. I have increased my situps of three sets of 60 to three sets of 120 (I have also been working out to).

The gelpads are gooey and sticky and eecky and way too expensive to replace. I regret purchasing the belt altogether. |
