Was so excited to get this set, thought I would pass this set down to one of my daughters, not sure it will last that long. First off the gold detail is very spotty, big spots are missing, making it look very cheap. second the entire set is VERY thin, I was almost afraid to use it, thought the heat of the coffee would surely crack the pieces. Not a good value for the money

I ordered one set in each color.Mine were ok, but I am giving a low rating cuz I agree with the other buyers who reviewed this item,& feel the BOX was clearly garbage. Both of my boxes were torn, and of a poor quality. How could a beautiful set of dishes be packaged in something so shabby?? You blew this deal! I also feel the HAND painting was not very consistent and of a lowerRUSHED sort of quality. I''ve learned you always need to check the reviews before I order something from HSN.
Teapot Lid didn''t fit

I ordered as a Today''s Special (plus the matching 6 dessert plates & the cake server). When they came I opened them immediately to make sure they weren''t chipped, cracked, etc. and all looked fine. When I went to put them on display I found out that the lid to the teapot wouldn''t go down into the teapot at all. I called customer service 3 times with questions and finally decided to send this set back for a replacement. Hopefully I won''t have any more problems or they will all be going back.

I''ve wanted a set like this for so long. Good price so I ordered it. 3 cups have chips in the rim. 2 plates were chipped also. The beautiful blue box looked as if it was mauled,torn, stained and bent. Like the other review, the bottoms look unfinished and cheapen the overall look. I can''t go through ordering another set to have the same problems, so back they will go and a lesson well learned for me. I do not recommend this product. Hassle to return and have same problem again.

I PURCHASED 4 SETS 2 GREEN AND 2 PINK FOR A BABY SHOWER. I WAS A LITTLE DISAPPOINTED WITH THE BOXES THEY CAME IN. 2 WERE BROKEN AND 2 HAD THE LATCHS MISSING. I WILL TAPE THEM UP. I NEEDED TO BE ABLE TO TRANSPORT THEM AND THEY STATED THE BOX WAS A $25.00 VALUE. I STILL GAVE THIS 5 STARS BECAUSE MY ENTIRE FAMILY ALMOST FAINTED WHEN I TOOK THEM TO SET UP FOR THE BABY SHOWER. GUESTS WERE IMPRESSED!!!! WISH I HAD PURCHASED MORE!!!!
Lid won''t come off

Well, the design is wonderful..except the lid on the Teapot is stuck, I guess it''s a defective pottery problem, also the bottom of some of the pieces are not finished, just like the serving tray, I wish the Sorelle sister would have better quality control, spend more time in the factory in China than touring France! Too bad...of to UPS I go..again!

I ordered this as a bridal shower gift. Thank God I opened it. I would''ve been mortified to have given this as a gift! The presentation box was cheap, flimsy cardboard, one corner ripped, lining detached in several spots, sugar bowl painting/decal was so visibly crooked & misaligned & overlapped. My heart just sank. Tea pot was worse-pattern & gold edge were uneven/erratic. The cups were pitted & incomplete. What a shame. Definitely NOT the quality I was anticipating.

i received my tea set today i bought the pink the detail is beautiful. package very well, my daughter saw the tea set now she wants one, cant go wrong with the price i hope to buy other matching pieces thank you

Was looking forward to this set for my mother. Unfortunately, I''m sending back. The box was damaged but so were the cups, I didnt have to take it out to notice it. where is the quality control? Do not want to take a chance again on such fragile pieces. I could have been beautiful.

I thought that the overall design was very pretty but I did not get to see it until after the new bride opened the box; she loved it and so I won''t return it but the gold and the design was spotty and missing in a couple of places. I am used to much better china than this and I am happy I did not order two sets as I would have had to send the second set back ASAP. |
