Tagged made in China. On TV they talked about the German footbed so I guess I thought we had gotten back to the original Birks with a style name of Tatami.The footbed is narrower than my (real)Birks. I put these up against my other Birkenstocks and they are narrower and the toe-bar is closer to the front of the shoe than all my others. I will try them again but with the narrow width, I don''t think I can wear them. To Bad because they are very pretty. I will give them 3 stars for looks, not fit.

I got these in all 3 colors. I almost cancelled the gold, but I''m glad I didn''t. It''s not too gaudy or glitzy. They fit precisly like similar (without the mesh) cross-bands. My only concern is that the actual mesh will not hold up. A few of the little spangles are already bent or coming off. Not too noticable unless looked at closely. |
