AWFUL BOOK
/ LYNN, OH
I was very surprised how bad this book really was. They should fire their proofreader because the number of typo''s are terrible. I thought the book contained a lot of fluff, very little useful information. I was very disappointed and returned this purchase.

I knew - that''s who
/ N., MN
Interesting book. Only thing is, most of the ideas in the book are widely known already. I didn''t get much of anything out of it for new knowledge. It certainly isn''t worth the T.S. price. I did like the 2 bags that came with the book. I thought it was rather interesting that the authors are looking for ideas from everybody to publish in their next book. If you send in an idea that they use, they will have your name beside your idea. Sorry, no $$$ for your part in the book.
what happen?

the spelling and such is as bad as mine, I could not believe it. I was going to give this to my son but it is being returned
Not worth the money
When I opened up the package and thumbed through the book, I knew to send it back. A little later I started actually reading it and liked what I read (besides the grammatical and spelling error...not to mention the repeat of data throughout the books) and decided to keep it. It''s really not worth the $29 though.
Not worth it
I was very disappointed with this set - yes, granted there are some great tips in the books but so many typos and grammatical errors. The design on the bags is bland - you really could have done more with it but I knew when I saw them on the presentation that they were not that cute but I wanted the books. I hate to send them back as it just increases my carbon footprint and dollar spend but I am really disappointed with this purchase.
Most Everyone Knew
/ R, NV
Not much new information for the price. Many typos, small type is hard to read and binding is so close to text on the right side you have to break the spine to read it. Very disappointed.
No New Hints - Lots of Typos
Who Knew you could publish a book with so many typos and odd grammatical errors? Who Knew you could publish two books and have not one new suggestion in it? These are old suggestions that are available everywhere you look - including for free online. Nothing new here except authors who apparently never heard of spell-check or an editor. I am returning mine.
Poor editing and superficiality decrease the value
/ Cilla
Typos and repeating hints make these books less valuable. Some hints are superficial, without weighing options for decisions(gas stove vs. electric--safety issues). There are hints that are not even safe(medical people should use hand-gels, not antibacterials?--plain soap and water and good hand cleansing beats hand gels anyday, with or without antibacterials). There is a lack of research or data to back up some hints. Beware of following the hints without researching more deeply into them.
very informative
/ pauline, MA
I have been reading these book since they come in. they are very informative, lots of great ideas. But! for the price they really need to put out a better product. First of all there are MANY typo errors in the books. Bad proof reading. Second It was a little difficult to read little notes written in black on a dark green background. I would highly recommend these books, after they have been revised. |
