Don''t waste your time or money

What a big disappointment. The rice was gooey and stuck to the bottom of the pot. The cooker leaked a pastey mess all over the counter top, what a big mess to clean up. The unit is difficult to clean and the instructions are about as clear as mudd. This is the worst rice cooker I have ever encuntered. Definitely a waste of time and money. I''d rather continue cooking rice in a pot and steamer on the stove top. Needless to say this product is going back in the morning.

I received this in December and it worked for three months. I may have used it 6 times before it quit in the middle of a batch of rice. I have elctric appliances that I have been using for 20 years. I expected quality. I expected more from Wolfgang Puck.

I purchased this product in late January, by March I already starting having problems with it. It leaks out from under the handle on the left side. When it worked properly I really liked it, however I really think that a product should last longer than a couple of months. I gave it two stars because when I worked I liked it.

all i can say this rice cooker cooks great ....steam and cooked so many things my god ..thanks wolf gang ...going on my third purchase.....love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the best. I just love it. Makes the best rice and I love to steam veggies in it to. I use it about 4 times a week and also take it with me when I travel. Thanks Wolfgang.
Be careful. . . dry out thoroughly when you wash.

I was really enjoying this. . . but when I just went to use it it was all mildewy. . . I guess some steam was left in the upper part and it was closed. . . I didn''t use it for a while. . . had to toss. . tried to clean but didn''t feel it was clean enough. . what a waste. . . oh well my mistake. . but BE CAREFUL!!! Dry out thoroughly. . .

Talked my husband into letting me get this and after the rice pudding he''s glad I did. Bit of a learning curve w/cheaper rice but it was easy to clean up as the diretions promised! Love it! Love it!

Best Little cooker! I''ve only had it about 2 weeks. I''ve cooked chicken-n-dumplings, cornbread, mac n cheese, cornbread(did I already say that?), chicken (cut-up) in dressing, white beans, and I have not yet to cook rice in it because we only eat rice once in a while. But every thing is yummy!!! Thanks Wolfgang, Debra, and HSN !!!

I purchased this rice steamer and expected an easy cleanup and simple directions on how to make a simple pot of rice. The directions are vague, and the steamer makes a complete mess on the counter top. It bubbles over leaving a starchy mess all over the sides of the steamer, the counter, and even all over the inside crevices of the steamer.

I have the 10 cup and love it for Quinoa,rice,other recipes & steaming veggies. I bought the 5 quart for cooking smaller amounts of grains or keeping things warm. I bought 5 quart for my 91 year old uncle who didn''t have the energy to cook properly and HE LOVES IT !! He is cooking and eating better and his health and energy have improved. Thanks Wolf and Deb. I am now buying a 7 quart to better cook recipes from Debra Murray''s great Rice Cooker Cookbook. |
